And the lenses are not outrageously priced. Contacts are affordable as well. Easy access to building for those who are handicapped/handicapped parking. Lo curb to sidewalk and door. Very easy access to bathroom. Very large for wheelchairs. This office has lots of room to move around. Lots of seating.

Worst glasses l ever had. I return them FOUR times because the glasses were not right. 1) l ordered them with a saddle, it was never installed, l noticed it a few miles down the road, 2) picked up glasses the first time, l got bi-focals with the widest view possible. At home l noticed to read l could only read with my nose pointing at the ceiling, only because the reading portion ot lens were at the bottom of the bottom of the frame rim, sent back to have the remake of the lens, 3) picked up once again, l told them l still couldn't see with them. Kim checked the prescription and it was the prescription they had. I took them where l had my eyes examed and was told the prescription of the glasses wasn't the prescription they had gave me. Went back to AB and told them it wasn't the prescription l was given. They didn't admit the wrong (OLD) prescription was used. Sent back to again get have them remade. 4) Glasses came in, they seam ok, but when l got home something seamed not quite right. Working on the computer l notice when reading it was like l had pin point view only. The word l was looking at was clear. With only moving my eyes an not my head the other words were fuzzy on the same line and word further to the right or left were getting fuzzy'er. While lady writing up my order, l said something about getting my last pair from Walmart. She told us this isn't Walmart. I never had a experience like this at Walmart. If you don't mind waste gas, putting unnecessary miles on your vehicle and getting to know the workers on a first name basis this is the place for you. But when it happens to you just remember you were warned. Rick
Yall!! This place was incredible. Most eyeglass stores don’t have many options for the prescriptions I need and don’t fit my head too well. But after working with Zoey, I’ll never go to another store again. She was so attentive, smart, knowledgeable, and caring. She worked with me for hours to find the perfect fit and match for me. I’ve never left a store so thankful and appreciative of their work before, and that’s a testament to Zoey and her professionalism. Will 100% be coming back for more options! As long as Zoey is working that day!
Everyone including the doctor were professional. However, Mary lacks managerial & customer service skills. While waiting for my eye exam, I was looking at the frames. I then overheard Mary & immediately noticed her lack of professionalism & tactfulness when she openly began announcing to a coworker....where everyone can hear.... about her vacation time & how many hours she has. Rather than making an announcement about the coworker's time etc., she should have kindly discuss the staff's vacation & how much time she has on a one-to-one conversation. Not openly as I witnessed... so that other staff members & customers can hear. My next issue with Mary was as follows. My insurance covers $400.00 for my eyewear. Mary stepped when the young lady Raquel, who was assisting me was having difficulty in processing my allowance for eyewear. The young lady was saying that my insurance only covers ONE pair & any extra would need a copayment. I said to her, "my allowance covers $400.00 & that can be for more than one pair. If the $400 00 allowance exceeds, then I would have to pay the difference." I have the same insurance from last year & I got two pairs last year with anti glare. My allowance for last year was $500. So Mary comes in and rudely tells me; using unwelcomed gestures, "we are talking about this year & that their is no free glasses." As she was rudely talking to me, she was pointing her finger & pushing the paper towards me closer as if I am blind. I never mentioned nor said the word "free" in which I clearly said to Mary. I do know that my allowance can be used for more than one pair since I don't need bifocals nor transitional, just reading glasses. But Mary continued insisting that my insurance covers only ONE pair. I said to Mary, " either call the insurance to get enlightened or check to see what was incorrectly clicked in the system." She looked into the system; rudely told the young lady what to click & what not to click. Come to find that I was correct. Then she rudely said to me, "are we finished". I looked at her and said, " are you talking to me? You mean are YOU finished? Did you corrected the error?" She rudely said , "we are finished good bye!" I said to her with a smile, "it appears you don't like to be corrected". She just walked away with an attitude. Mary never admitted her error nor that I was correct. Not even a humble apology for her nasty behavior. I am sure this is not the first negative review regarding Mary. Can you imagine how many other customers who are not savvy or familiar with their insurance are being charge extra for their eyewear? The lack of familiarity with insurance coverage can be overwhelming - but please, don't be nasty to the customer nor towards the staff because of the lack of knowledge or knowledge, as in my case. My observation; Mary needs to retire & take the back seat so as to enjoy her retirement rather then spending her time being nasty to customers & coworkers. She is a miserable individual who lacks a lot of humane manners & should not be in any managerial position.
My first time using Americas Best. I’ll definitely use them again. The store was super clean, organized and easy to get to. The eye doctor was super friendly and listened to me. I didn’t feel rushed. Paula was the one who helped me pick out my frames, lenses, etc. I had so many questions, and we tried many scenarios to see which would be my best option when it came to insurance or their in house deals. She was so patient and helpful.
