I had such a great experience at America’s Best! Michele was incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging while teaching me how to put in and take out my contact lenses. I was nervous at first, but she took her time, never rushed me, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident before I left. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service made the whole experience so much easier. Thank you, Michele, for going above and beyond—I truly appreciate your help!

I'm very disappointed in the service given by this business. Over a month ago I was in store. The most rushed exam I've ever had, followed by 2 weeks to wait for trial lenses that never showed up. They didn't follow up or Reach Out at all. Thankfully I called and had to reschedule my appointment and was able to find out that they didn't even have the lenses that I was supposed to be going into the store to put in and be re-examined. They had to place a second order since the first one they claim never arrived. Fast forward two more weeks, they have still not followed up on their own and not reached out to me. So I started calling. Communication with some of the staff is very challenging. I was able to get a very nice representative on the phone who understood that waiting over a month with no progress and no lenses was a concern. I was promised a phone call today by the GM. When I called to check in I was told the GM was unavailable as he has meetings all day today. No one else can help. They're happy to take your money for the initial exam but beyond that the service is definitely lacking. I was directed to the customer care team but they are completely outsourced and communication with them was just as challenging as it was with the store employee who answers the phone. I have never worked with a provider who seemed to care this little. I definitely do not recommend this business. The DMV offers better customer service.
My appointment was rescheduled as we were pulling into the parking lot. They made up for it with their excellent service whet we were able to get seen. My family and I had exams and got new glasses. The sales associate was amazing.
I had a very disappointing experience with Mr. Darnell at America’s Best. From the moment I entered the store, there was no greeting, no welcome, and no effort made to make me feel valued as a customer. His attitude came across as dismissive and uninterested, and he only seemed focused on making a sale rather than providing quality customer service. What made the experience even more noticeable was that the young woman behind the desk was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, Mr. Darnell repeatedly seemed to dismiss her, despite her making a genuine effort to assist customers and create a positive atmosphere. Customer service starts with treating people with respect and making them feel welcome. Sadly, that was not my experience during this visit. I hope management addresses these concerns and recognizes the employees who are actually providing excellent customer service.
A smile, a thank you, a welcome in a long way. I chose a location near where I’m having my house built and went it to get some lenses. A glowing encounter with a newly hired young lady. She was giving amazing service with the limited capabilities she could do. However, the “leadership” Mr. Donnell. I had inquiries about lens thickness because my concern is cosmetic which is plausible when purchasing glasses. The youg lady asked him for assistance and he came up to the counter, no acknowledgment to me the customer, no smile, no welcome, he just instructed her to do a delegation and referred to me the patient as “him”… walked off. Then I asked him again about the lenses and he just gave a dry quick example of what he thought was an answer. He actually invited me to have seat to complete my transaction which I was already handling at the counter and I had to ask again about glasses because he forgot why I engaged with him and gave me another rash ,dry explanation of the lenses thickness. Where he had an opportunity to sale glasses and give a decent consultation , it wasn’t given. I could see that he just want your to hurry up and buy and get out of his face. I didn’t feel good spending money there. He a gave a trashy sales experience. My lenses that he I did receive he put them in his smock pocket and took them out and asked me do I know what lense go in what eye.. 🤦🏽♂️ Unfortunately I have to engage with this store again to find out when my contacts will arrive because I had to order them . I had my son with my me who is in school to be a RN and he said I would never treat patients like that. I purchased the lenses all I got out that man was “come around here to this machine and tap your card when you see the blue light” … he forgot to tell me when I can pick the lenses up. Won’t be doing back to that location . But I did find a different location and stopped in asked about lenses and go significant difference in service… you can really tell when someone loves what they do and those don’t don’t like customers. My purpose in coming in that store and a few other encounters I saw with him as we were waiting he doesn’t like customers best on my observation. Make me people feel good about spending their money with you and at-least dignify the sales experience with a proper consultation . Kudos river city for giving me real customer service experience.. I forgot this one. Mr. Donnell is up in a clinical setting with crocks on.
