I'm really disappointed by my experience with America's Best. The people were great (for the most part) but they made my glasses incorrectly, over and over, and I ended up settling for something I didn't order. After my initial visit, my 2 pairs of glasses were made with the wrong prescription. I returned the frames to have the correct lenses put in. After a week or so, I was notified that they were ready but when I got to the store, only 1 pair was there, and they hadn't changed the lenses. A manager pressured me to take them as they were but I declined, leaving them again for the right lenses to be put in. A week or 2 later my other pair was ready, and these were correct. The first pair was still out to be fixed, so I waited another 10 days or so before receiving notice that they were ready. Making my 4th trip to the store to pick up glasses, I was again disappointed to find the original (incorrect) lenses still in the first pair. Having left them TWICE already, I was done. I took the pair I didn't order and left. Took about 6 weeks just to end up with the wrong glasses. I won't be back to America's Best, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else go there either.

Tried to get sunglass lenses in a frame that I already have. My prescription is less than 2yrs old, they refused because it was more than a year old. I just want some prescription sunglasses for summer and I'm quite happy with my current prescription. I did some research and less than 2yrs is not an unreasonable lenght of time! I will now only do business with a company that will allow for 2yr prescriptions - You've lost me as a customer!

I stopped in to see if they could fix the nose piece on my glasses. I’m from out of town and didn’t have an appointment. It was super busy and I didn’t mind waiting. I sat there for 10 minutes watching all the disgruntled people give the poor girl behind the desk all their anger over insurance not doing their part, one person wasn’t happy about something else that had nothing to do with her or the store. Kennedy was the employees name. I was taken a back on how calm she remained and how she didn’t lose her cool being attacked and took care of each person. I hope upper management sees this and appreciates the employee she is. It was such a breath of fresh air to see someone so young have that much professionalism. And yes they fixed my glasses with a smile! Thank you!

I’ve been coming to this America’s Best location for a few years now, and every single year there is some kind of issue. Last night was the final straw. I came in for an eye exam and new glasses due to squinting and headaches — something I’ve experienced before when my prescription changes. This is the second year in a row I’ve had the same doctor, and once again he dismissed my concerns and told me I should seek help for a brain tumor, insisting that eye strain headaches “aren’t real.” This was said casually and without any actual concern or follow-up, and frankly felt inappropriate and unprofessional. After the exam, he told me my eyes had gotten slightly worse but otherwise looked fine — so clearly no brain tumor after all. When it came time to pick out glasses, the experience somehow got worse. I was working with an employee to discuss frames and insurance coverage. I explained that I was interested in Pair Eyewear but had picked a backup option in case it didn’t make sense with my insurance. He made awkward comments about my frame choice, questioned why I didn’t just keep my current glasses (which I purchased online), and responded passive-aggressively when I explained that. Even though I was the patient, once he learned that my husband was the primary insurance holder, he physically turned his chair away from me and began speaking directly to my husband about my glasses and pricing — without including me at all. My husband had to redirect him and say, “They’re her glasses — what do you want to do?” That alone was incredibly uncomfortable and unacceptable. On top of that, pricing was never transparent. I was suddenly told my total would be $186, despite paying around $60 out of pocket last year with similar coverage. When I asked for a printed breakdown of the charges, the employee refused to provide one and kept “looking” without ever showing me actual numbers or options. I felt pressured, talked over, and intentionally kept in the dark about pricing. At that point, I asked for my prescription so I could take my business elsewhere. Only then was I told it would cost $10 — which was the only clear information I received the entire visit. This experience was frustrating, dismissive, and disrespectful from start to finish. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location to anyone who expects transparency, professionalism, or basic respect as a patient.

My friend broke his glasses and we tried 4 different glasses places and none of them were even helpful in the slightest . We got to Americas best contacts and glasses and ALLISON was extremely helpful and understanding of the situation. She searched and searched for a frame replacement and found one. Only 90$!!! She was extremely helpful and I recommend you going here. Point blank !
