My wife and I both had eye appointments scheduled here and fully planned on going. We had already gotten ready, were out for the day, and had basically planned our day around these appointments. Then I received a phone call and was left a voicemail that was about 45 seconds long with literally nothing being said. Shortly after that, my wife also received a call, but hers was just a missed call with no voicemail. At that point we were actually concerned that maybe something had happened with our appointments and they were calling to cancel or reschedule them. Since we had arranged our day around being there, we called back to find out what was going on. When they answered, there wasn’t even a hello or greeting. We were immediately put on hold. When we finally spoke with someone, the whole interaction felt very unprofessional. The person wasn’t friendly and didn’t have the kind of professional or reassuring tone you would expect from a medical or eye care office. We honestly felt like we were annoying them just by calling. Then we were told that my wife had canceled her appointment. She was literally sitting right next to me and had absolutely not canceled anything. When I explained that, there seemed to be even more confusion about what was going on. Eventually we confirmed that both appointments were still scheduled and ended the call. Afterward, my wife and I talked about it and decided not to go. First impressions matter anywhere, but I think they matter even more in healthcare. Some people might look at an eye appointment as something minor or routine, but I don’t. Eye health is important. You are trusting someone to examine your eyes and potentially catch a problem that could seriously affect your vision if it went unnoticed. Because of that, I want to feel like I’m being seen in a professional, organized environment where I have confidence in the people taking care of me. Unfortunately, this interaction gave us the complete opposite feeling. If there was already this much confusion and lack of professionalism before we had even walked through the door, neither of us felt comfortable trusting the office with our eye care. It’s unfortunate because our previous eye doctor is farther away now and doesn’t have the appointment availability they used to, so we were genuinely looking for a new place where we could become regular patients. We weren’t just shopping around or looking for something to complain about. We were ready to come in. That one interaction ended up costing this office two potential new patients. Maybe it was an off day, but when it comes to healthcare, that first interaction can say a lot about how comfortable someone feels putting their health in your hands. In our case, it was enough for us to decide to look somewhere else.

I went to go order contacts. I put 4 stars because the floor lead that initially helped me seemed like should couldn’t have been bothered when I vocalized I wanted 90 day supply versions 1 year supply - I’m assuming because the commission wouldn’t have been enough - that was the vibe. She handed me off to another associate, Joseline (I know I spelled that wrong). There was some trouble with insurance and though she was new, she did an amazing job helping me. She was very helpful and funny. If you go there, I highly recommend seeing if Joselin can help you.

My appointment was at 11:20 when I came in at 11:15 for my appointment there wasn’t even a receptionist there to check me in I had to wait until 11:30 to be checked in. I didn’t get seen for a pre exam until 12:10. When I first walked in it seemed that there was only 1 doctor I only saw other patients being called into 1 room. When I was called back for my actual exam at 12:30 an hour after my scheduled appointment I was surprised to find out that the doctor was calling on screen through zoom. There was no information telling me that I made a virtual appointment. The dr was nice and showed me all my results and talked me through it and answered questions but I was not expecting a zoom call with my doctor. I’m my opinion if I’m paying money to a doctor for an exam the doctor should be at the office. Considering that the appointment was through a zoom call I’m also confused of why it took an hour for me to be seen. Do they only have 1 doctor they are able to just jump on a call. I would not recommend this experience.

I was sitting with my niece's ( first time getting glasses with them ) and happened to overhear part of a conversation with a worker and a costumer. The young workers name is Kaidyn and she was dealing with the costumer who said ( and I quote ) " Well I dont feel like waiting that long so you're going to have to fix it " ... Kaidyn said she absolutely understood and handle the customers un-needed attitude with grace and a smile in a way that was commendable. ... Everyone who works here has an upbeat attitude and a helping personality. Look forward to coming again.

Staff were nice and helpful. However waiting here can range from 90 mins to 3 hours. Then the remotes doctors go on lunch with no notice and you're sitting waiting even longer. I see that they respond to negative reviews by saying they're sorry about it. But clearly no effort to improve. I should gone to the 6635 Ritchie location. Though they have a wait, it's never been like this. I hope you have nothing better to after your appointment cause you'll never get to it.
