I had some hesitation with going to America’s Best in Spanish Fort for my eye exam, but they really did a fantastic job… My left eye is so wonky and it seemed every time I got glasses, I wouldn’t be able to see clearly out of my left eye with my glasses unless I turned my head to the side a little. Thankfully, that hasn’t been an issue with my current glasses that I got from America’s Best. My biggest complaint? Bait and switch. They offer 2 pairs of glasses including eye exam starting at $99. What they don’t tell you is that is only a handful of frames (none that fit my big head) and it doesn’t include ANYTHING on the lenses — not even basic UV protection. So, I got the 2/$149 deal and still spent almost $300 bc I need anti-glare and all that jazz. But, I got a pair of prescription glasses that actually work, a pair of prescription sunglasses for the car, and I did a $20 add-on for them to use a machine to get a better look at my eye because I’ve had eye issues in the past. So anyway, do I recommend them? Yes, the Spanish Fort location anyway. But don’t go there expecting a cheap deal. 👍

The good: The pre-test nurse and the front staff! They're amazing. The bad: plan to spend at least 2 hours every time you come. The process is like conveyor belt style and it's very slow. The ugly: the Dr is only one they have and she is not kind. After a pair of trial contacts I went back and told her that they were way too strong that they made me nauseated and I couldn't see. She told me that it is my age and there was nothing she could do to help me. Apparently at the age of 40 this just magically happens. I'm pretty sure my age has nothing to do with the prescription she gave me being too strong 🤦‍♀️ she finally just ended up asking me what I wanted her to do and she ultimately did it but did not give me a new pair of trials so I have no idea if this prescription will work or not. This woman has no business working with people :(I've never had an eye doctor Dr mess up my prescription let alone twice, and get two different prescriptions in a 3-day period of time. Update: I went to a different eye clinic, my prescription was insanely different from the one that I got here and works perfectly for me. They told me they have no idea how this office came up with the number that they did and is completely off the charts. So the good news is I finally have contacts and glasses that work great for me, The bad news is I purchased two pairs of glasses from America's Best, paid for a contact exam and an eyeglass exam that are no good to me because the prescription is way too far off. Im just out all that money because they told me I can't return them even though she messed it up 😡

Awesome experience, affordable, accurate & very prompt. I ordered 2 pairs & they didn’t try to upsell continually. It was great & product worth the wait. They tell you the glasses may take up to 2 wks, but I had mine in less than a week, about 3 biz days! I highly recommend Americas Best!

Was not very happy with this company. My husband asked for a darker lens and in order for him to get a darker lens he would have to pay more money out of the balance of almost $1000 and they still want more money. So I give this a half a star.

When I received my prescription, the glasses were way too big. She kept trying to steam them and bend them to fit but that did no good due to them just being entirely to wide. They did not at all fit like the frames I tried on and picked out. Instead of saying let’s send them back and order a new pair of frames , they said to take and try them. I have yet to Wear them and it’s been 5 months. She could obviously see they were too big! Would not recommend. For the record the doctor was great.
