Walked in with Mom’s favorite frames, the ones she actually loves, expecting a simple new-lens job. Nowhere did they clearly say (or it was buried in the world’s fastest fine print) that if their bargain-basement lab decides to play demolition derby, it’s 100% on me with my own frames. Surprise! The lab broke them. Their generous fix? “Buy brand-new frames at full price or cancel the order. Here’s twenty bucks to ‘help.’” The lady who dropped that bomb was colder than the $20 credit, zero empathy, straight “good luck, not our problem” energy. Newsflash: It’s YOUR lab. You picked the cheapest one. Own it instead of making customers eat the cost of your corner-cutting. I’ve gotten warmer service and actual accountability from a Walmart optical counter. Bet your scripted Google reply will be the usual “We’re so sorry for your experience, please email corporate” while you keep doing the exact same thing to the next sucker. Don’t bother.
