I had an appointment to get my eyes examined. After an hour wait ,I was told they were behind. Also I found that the exam would be conducted by a remote Doctor, ( no in person exam ). I was not comfortable having a visit for an exam by a remote Dr. I left and was very disappointed. By the way it's the Fort Oglethorpe Georgia location on 04022026 at 1130 am. By reading the reviews it seems America's Best is giving the same sorry response and they will make it better. Too late I went to another location in Fort Oglethorpe for the Doctor in house exam and bought 2 pair of glasses.

First time using this place for my glasses. I needed close up prescription and they messed up my prescription on my glasses. They were for far away vision which I have never needed. Glasses gave me a headache, so went back after 30 days. They wanted to charge me again after there mistake. I told them I would never be back, and would go back to Lens Crafters.
Victoria was amazing she had a smile on her face as soon as walked in and was very nice. She helped me from picking out what frames were best for my face shape to explaining how billing and insurance worked. She was very knowledgeable in every aspect. Will definitely be back! Especially to have victorias help again! Love my new glasses!
I’d give zero stars if i could, went in to get my frames fitted, they shattered my lenses. They did replace for free but then i got the glasses back employees were rude and unprofessional acting like they did not break them. Anyways, I get my glasses back after they shattered my lenses and then notice the lense is not even all the way in the frame!! Literally do not go here the Hixson location is better staffed and better experienced. I’m not sure what went wrong here but the staff is horrendous.
This is a great place to get an eye exam appointment. Everyone here is very friendly except the guy named Kolbi who is a cashier in the front. You can’t make small talk with him. He’s not overtly rude but he makes you feel bad noted and beneath him like being a customer is a bother to him instead of a social opportunity to be an understanding human. He is the reason I will never return to this location. We’re all humans living here on this planet. If I’m being nice and your job is to interact with the random public especially if they’re being nice, then you should be too.
