I had such a great experience! Asharah helped my son. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She fixed his glasses quickly, and we were in and out in no time. Her excellent customer service made the whole experience stress-free. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.

Very disappointing experience overall. I specifically called ahead before driving 25–30 minutes to confirm how my TRICARE coverage would work because I am still learning the insurance process. I was told my eye exam would be covered, but no one explained beforehand that a contact lens exam would cost extra or that the doctor would only be available virtually instead of in person. Had I known either of those things, I would not have booked this appointment. From the moment I walked in, the entire appointment felt rushed. The front desk employee barely had time to copy my insurance card or fully explain my coverage before the technician was already trying to pull me back for the exam. I was never really given an opportunity to fully understand what was covered, what was not, or whether I would owe anything out of pocket before the exam even started. It genuinely felt like the priority was rushing patients in and out as quickly as possible. The technician spoke very quickly through a mask, repeatedly had to repeat herself because I could not hear or understand her clearly, and rushed through the testing process without making sure I understood what was happening. She also gave very short, dismissive responses throughout the appointment. The biggest issue for me was the lack of professionalism and cleanliness. The technician’s hands smelled strongly of smoke while she was operating equipment directly in front of my face with very long acrylic nails and no gloves. I am assuming — and this is only my assumption — that she may have just smoked prior to the appointment, which may also explain the mask. Regardless, handling eye equipment inches from a patient’s face in that condition was extremely off-putting and unprofessional. To make matters worse, I was not informed until AFTER my appointment was fully completed that I would owe $50 out of pocket for the contact lens exam. The technician simply asked whether I wanted a glasses or contact lens exam, and because I was under the impression my yearly exam was covered, I chose the contact exam since it included both. Only after everything was finished did the office finally run my insurance fully and tell me I owed additional money. To make the experience even more disappointing, the “doctor visit” ended up being virtual through a screen instead of seeing an optometrist in person, which also was never disclosed beforehand. Overall, the experience felt rushed, poorly communicated, and unprofessional from start to finish. If the office was trying to rush appointments because of Memorial Day, appointments should not have been scheduled that way. Patients still deserve professionalism, communication, cleanliness, and transparency regarding costs before receiving care.
Sad to say my experience here started off great and went downhill very fast. My eye exam and doctor were great. However, once I bought contacts, I was lied to about how many boxes I was getting for the price. They charge double the price for the same contacts you can buy online. On top of that, when attempting to discuss the issue and mix up, Montiel, was absurdly rude with me. Never seen a more unprofessional front desk employee. Did not care about my concerns and didnt want to hear them. I returned my lenses 2 days later. Wouldn't waste my money or time there.
The professionalism of the staff at his location was unmatched! They were able to help me get toric lenses that fit well and a cute pair of frames. Tacory and Montiel were friendly and very helpful with the entire process. 10 stars from me!
The new manager Adrian at the Stone Mountain location did a very good job of dealing with us and gave us additional help. That was very much appreciated. The product that was purchased also was very good.
