I am glad I choose to get my eye check here at Shakopee AB. I could have went to the linear competition for eye care but I found the team here to be worth the time. Dr. Ryan was excellent, the techs, Noah, receptionist, and Manager Sean all made sure that their work was to please. For a customer like me, they went above and beyond with my pair of glasses that needed tweaking for my face. A hidden gem here in Shakopee, which made the drive out worth it.

The doctor for the exams was great, but after my exam I walked to check out the glasses and found a pair that I wanted to buy. I wanted 1 pair of glasses and said I wanted to buy glasses, but wanted to know the price of the pair in my hand with my prescription and I was met with "Well if you buy 2 it is a better deal" and I said "I just wear them at home and I dont need 2. I just need 1". I was then brought to a table to sit down to collect for my eye exam and I thought he was going to quote me new glasses so I could buy them same day but instead started on his pitch of the club they offer and how the 2 glasses was better than 1 deal. When I said no to both and I just wanted 1 set of glasses I was then asked "so do you just want to pay for the exam or do you want the exam and the club" and I said just the exam and then was told to have a nice day! I WAS LITERALLY GOING TO BUY GLASSES and instead because I didnt buy what he was selling I didnt end up buying glasses at all and went somewhere else. I wouldve been an easy sale if he had just listened to me and not been on his own agenda. The rest of the staff seemed much more friendly and helpful.

The staffs to Doctor here are amazing. Doctor is super nice. Very friendly to kids. It’s full at the store but staffs are so patience when my kids are indecisive. They still give suggestions on things and not rushing the process even tho there’s a lot of people waiting.

Mike is the best. He is what keeps this place afloat. He turned me from a not so happy customer to a happy customer. I hope this company realizes the type of employee they have with Mike. I not only believe, but feel for a fact, that this place has gotten the sales that it has because of Mike alone. He knows all of the ins & outs of the establishment & it’s obvious that the other employees rely on him. If I were the owner of this company, I’d try with everything in me to make sure Mike is happy!!

We were just in the facility. I was observing, as I usually do.. Upon observing a gentleman, whose name I later found out is Mike, I was extremely, EXTREMELY disappointed with how he treated the staff. He rolled his eyes I want to say a billion times as well as addressing everyone who was “lower” than him, beyond condescendingly. I would be mortified if my employees talked to their staff that way. Horrid behavior I do not want to return when he is working. He made the environment for us very uncomfortable. I hope he gets properly trained in treated human beings as God intended. Not OK. Noah, on the other hand was wonderful. He made the experience even better and made an effort to ask about our day and make that connection with us. Despite being shouted at from across the room on numerous accounts, he still managed to respond with a smile and was very kind. He tightened our glasses and even cleaned them without having to ask and was just amazing. Helped our experience lighten up. Little things are important to us. Which is why I saw every disgusting behavior of ‘Mike’ and every beautiful action Noah took. good day to you all and God bless!!
