America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I came in the other day for assistance on scheduling an eye exam along with picking out frames that’ll suit my face shape. The manager of the store came over to help me, I believe her name is Kailen, and helped me pick out the perfect frames! Not only did she find exactly what I was looking for but she was also very knowledgeable about the lenses and what would be best for my situation. I’ve told all my friends needing or looking for eyewear to come here and specifically ask for her. Glad I came to this location and not some other eyeglass store in Bayonne. 10/10 recommend

I’ve been to over 5 America’s Best locations for eye care, and this was by far the best experience! This was some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Sarah gave a very warm welcome to all customers entering the store, and was really helpful to me in dealing with an insurance question. While managing a big crowd that was growing impatient and a phone line that seemed to be continuously ringing, Sarah managed to fit a family of 6 for glasses and tend to all customers coming it — she had the office running like a well-oiled machine! Kyle helped me after my eye exam. Although it was already within an hour or less of closing, he encouraged me to take my time selecting frames. While I was selecting frames, I could hear him helping customers with detailed and tedious financial questions, patiently and politely walking them through numbers and features for eyewear multiple times, even through a customer’s outburst in response to him spending time with another customer. Sarah and Kyle were very professional, patient, and made for a great customer experience on a late Friday evening! I will definitely choose this location over any others for future eye care.

I was trying to get in contact with a store manager at a time i was told she would be there (i called 2 hours beforehand) The manager Kaylen was 1. not at the store i had to wait while her colleagues contacted her, after waiting for 30 minutes i got the assumption that she was not going to come. The other workers in the store was not able to assist me because only a manager can do the work i needed. This is not the first time i had an unprofessional experience with the manager at this store and I don’t know if there are other managers but i will definitely not be coming back if she is the manager working. IF I COULD GIVE THIS A 0 STAR I WOULD!!

I had such a wonderful experience at America’s Best in Bayonne on 5/1/2026. Sarai and GM Kailen were both exceptionally kind, patient, and helpful throughout my visit. They took their time with me, answered everything with care, and made the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and stress-free. Their professionalism and warmth truly stood out, and it’s rare to come across a team that goes above and beyond the way they did. I left feeling genuinely appreciated and well taken care of. This team absolutely deserves a raise — they are a real credit to this location.

I arrived right on time (i’m usually late + new patient) and was seen about 15 minutes after checking in. Wait time is not bad at all and you get to look at frames you’re interested in while waiting. Everyone was respectful and the eye exams were under 7 minutes. Kihanny was very helpful and polite. She helped me decide which frame looked best on me & we got to check out fairly quickly. The whole process was smooth and easy.
