The staff at this location is great! However, the “virtual doctor” process takes entirely too long! My appointment time was 9:50am. I arrived at 9:30am and didn’t leave until 11:50am. The doctor was extremely hard to understand and she just rushed through everything without really listening, even though I had to wait for almost 25 minutes for her to even join the call to do the 5 minutes “exam”. It’s extremely frustrating and very poorly executed. My advice is to call in to make an appointment and make sure you’re seeing an actual doctor instead of a computer screen because again, the staff there is amazing and made this extremely unnecessarily long appointment better.

I waited 30 minutes at the last appointment, and had to reschedule because I wasn’t able to wait any longer. I was happy they were able to accommodate me today after missing my appointment time but I don’t see the point of the follow up contact appointment, I waited a hour in the waiting room to be seen to only be in the doctors office for a literal minute. Why can’t this be a phone call? On a positive note, the employees are friendly.
Full disclosure that prior to this experience I really wasn't impressed with America's Best. The previous doctor did not make us want to go back, so we have been going to Walmart ever since. However, I have a special situation with my eyes after having LASIK surgery 20 years ago, and long story short, I needed a quick appointment to be able to get contacts. With the problems that come with middle age, I had completely given up on being able to see well with contacts, but I also am not ready to wear glasses all the time. Dr. Devito was EXCELLENT. He can come across as rather serious, but he is kind and absolutely knows what he is doing. He took my situation as a challenge and got my contact prescription just right, so that I can see better than I have for years! I rarely even need reading glasses, which is a pleasant surprise! As long as he's there, I'd recommend America's Best to anyone. Thank you!
First off Stood at counter waiting for someone to greet us. Woman in what looked like Jammie’s with her hair on top of her head yelled from across the room. Telling us to go pick out glasses. No help with this. I saw her yelling the same thing at others not getting off her behind. Arrived at 10:30 for 10:50 exam. Am still sitting here waiting for teledoc at 12:15. First if I had known it was teledoc would not have come. This process is way to long. I would pay more to wait a lot less.
The girl at the front desk was so rude. When it was 40 mins past my appointment time n I asked how much longer itd be, I was told that the appointment is just what time I had to check in not when id be able to see the Dr. She had such a crap attitude. ... the girl that helped me order my glasses, the protesting lady and the Dr were all great, especially the girl that helped me order. She was awesome BUT having to be there for an hour and a half for a 10 min eye exam was a lot. Im pretty patient n understanding about appointments running behind. It would have been fine if the girl at the desk wasnt such a smart mouth about it. Its a shame that most other people there were great but she managed to dampen the whole experience w her lack of being able to communicate with manners and accurate information
