I had an appointment today for glasses and contacts. The customer service was excellent. When I arrived the staff members did all of the different set up and preparatory exams and were very knowledgeable. I then had a virtual appointment with the eye doctor, and a staff member present in the room assisting with the exam, which was a new experience for me. Every staff member that I interacted with from the first phone call, to the exam, and to finally picking out my frames was positive. The doctor that you get is random though.

We had been using these guys since they opened and I am not sure why all the employees in there seem so snooty towards blue collar from jump but atleast those I had to deal with previously were tolerable after multiple interactions. Today I took my young daughter in and the first lady we spoke with had an attitude about the info that was relayed to me previously talking about "I dont know who 'they' is"... um whomever was here last month!!!. And then she directs me to a younger lady, both of which I have never dealt with, who had an even worse attitude. She said my daughter's very simple name wrong and then followed up with "or whatever" which for some reason just sounds grossly inappropriate to me. The first lady got it wrong too which again, simple name. Now I see why when I sent my husband a couple weeks ago he wasn't thrilled and they couldn'tdo much with their "virtual exams" either. We used this place out of convenience, cash pay and now I am trying very hard not to return the tone that was given to us today. Get it together!! This new crew is going to kill another Brimfield plaza business in a hurry!! I forgot that I also wasn't told about insurance I purchased expiring so I rushed to get one of our 3 pairs to replace scratched lenses and screws tightened on another that fell apart... while we waited on the replacement pair, the tightened screws fell off the other on the first wear and we lost the glasses entirely. Such a waste of money
I love all of the staff, everyone is so nice but I’m really upset that I signed up for the three year contract a few months ago. There is no doctor anymore, I needed help with my contacts yesterday, waited 30 minutes for a “virtual doctor” to review my eye video? But the doctor responded that the video wasn’t good enough so I’d have to redo it and wait at least another 30 minutes for a doctor so I left. I don’t think a virtual doctor could even help in this situation. After doing research on my own, I see what I don’t like about my contacts, I really hope I can get a refund on the ones that I ordered yesterday (out of desperation I had to order the uncomfortable ones because I have one pair of contacts and my glasses prescription is old so when I take these out and use my glasses I am dizzy. If an actual doctor was there, I would have gotten a sample pair so I didn’t have to have only one eye to see out of right now.
What an absolute joke this place is. I had an appointment at 4:30. Got the pre exam all set and then waited and waited...and waited. They only do telemedicine appointments. I was willing to wait. I had nothing else going on. 6:15 they tell me that all the doctors have signed off for the day so I need to reschedule. What?! They had patients still?! What kind of business is that? Smh. Very disappointed
Great deals and large variety of frames. Clean atmosphere. Employees are helpful and polite. We get our glasses here every year
