When I made an appointment for my 85 year old mother, I specifically asked about the possibility of using her existing frames and if they could possibly be placed the same day or maybe a day later. I was assured since they had a lab on site that it was a 98% chance to get them back within a day. I was very frustrated after the eye exam today to be told the glasses would not be back for two weeks! Also the technician Julie was very rude and uncaring to my elderly mom. She should find a new profession! It's not that hard to be patient and explain things to the elderly!! DO BETTER!!

Made my wife and I an appointment last week for today. They texted my phone 6 times since then to remind me. I get to springfield this morning and stop to get breakfast before my appointment. They call and cancel 1 hour before our appointments. Real professional. Not a good look.
2 cancellations due to doctors not being available, on the third try they sent me home because their computer system went down. Had to come back across town when they called and said the system came back online, only to be rushed through an eye exam with very little information shared. I asked for contacts as well as ordered glasses, they gave me trial contacts and never put the contact order thru. Then, no mention that the vision insurance I have was out of network for them. Won't be returning even if they do come into my insurance network. The employees were nice, but can't do their job.
When I picked up my glasses the bifocal lens was much too high because I hadn’t been measured for it at all. I am majorly disappointed to wait longer for the correct lenses to be made. My eye exam by the optometrist was excellent, it was my second exam and I would return just for the exam alone, but I’m rethinking having any prescription filled there. If I do I’m asking for an optician named Mia, who answered all the questions and concerns my optician had about my prescription.
We brought our son here for his very first traditional vision screening, and the experience meant more to us than I can put into stars alone. From the moment we walked in, the doctor treated my son with genuine curiosity and respect. My son was fascinated by the eye model in the room and asked question after question — instead of rushing him along, the doctor engaged with him, answered thoughtfully, and clearly saw him as a whole little human, not just a patient. Before we even left that first appointment, my son asked if he could give the doctor a hug — which we later learned was the first hug the doctor had ever received after an exam. That moment alone stayed with us. When we returned to pick up his glasses, the doctor surprised us by having purchased an eye model just for my son, simply because he remembered how much it mattered to him. That level of kindness, thoughtfulness, and follow-through is rare. We even brought the model into my son’s classroom so he could share it with his peers. This place reminded me that healthcare can still be human. If you’re looking for an office where your child will be seen, heard, and treated with compassion — not just processed — this is it.
