America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I spent over an hour in the store picking out 2 pairs of reading glasses for my child on a Saturday only for them to tell me that the system was down and to call the following Tuesday. While there, one manager kept speaking over the very patient young lady that was helping me, making it very uncomfortable. I believe she was trying to help but it was rude. I took a picture of the notes the sales rep took so we'd have the details of the order ready when I called. When I called, they kept me on hold for nearly 10 minutes after I gave them my personal insurance information. I hung up and called back to ask that they could call me back with the information since I was at. I asked to speak to the general manager, who kept cutting me off when I tried to explain myself. I now understand the behavior the women displayed on Saturday after my attempt at communication with the general manager. I decided to end the conversation once I realized that contention was required before I could order my daughter's glasses. I'll never go there again. I'm very disappointed at the disservice.

Danielle was great! Very very helpful with insurance questions and finding glasses that fit our price range. My son has autism and she interacted with him in a way that made me smile. She and one other lady there are super helpful. I plan on only going when they are there.

Found American Best near Me in Cedarbrook Mall Wyncote Pa. Called was Blessed to talk to a Wonderful Woman Jessie. She was extremely through with Her questions to ensure She would be able to give Me the best service, glasses that would help My specific Eye situation. This process was easy as Jessie completed everything for Me. The appointment was sent to My cell phone which is easier to navigate (Im 72yrs old) due to My Eye sight. On My cell phone everything was successfully accomplished including reminders, updates etc. I want to Appreciate, Thank Jessie, Her Amazing Staff. My Shero Jill, Andy, Tee who helped Me navigate with My Disabilities, making adjustments as needed. Also Dr Brenda Hoxha OD for Her through Eye exam, her patience, warm welcome demeanor, observation which revealed some Eye problems that a Specialist needed to address and the referrals Dr Brenda supplied. This American Best is Great! I Love My glasses and will see them Definitely Again!!! Thank You All For A Phenomenal Experience..

This use to be my favorite store but as time went by they became the worst… from having the rep trying to force me to spend over $500 and then told me she was giving me the best deal when crazy thing is I’ve been using the same insurance and it’s never been this expensive for my sons glasses and mine .. think this is my last year using them

Went in to get my glasses tightened today around 9:15am. The older heavy set black woman who usually sits directly in the middle of the store told me “we’ll do the tightening but we’re not responsible if something happens to them”. I’m sorry? Glasses tightening is a service offered by the company but there is no fine print confirming her statement. However, she looked at the frames and said my handles were too loose and she wouldn’t fix them. I told her I wanted the middle heated and tightened and barely did anything. I wound up looked at other glasses and left, because I was annoyed by her lack of customer service, which is an ongoing issue at this location. I went to the Montgomeryville store and had excellent service previously to the point where the ladies worked together to accomplish the tightening, because they said the plastic Ray Bands require more heat and patience… I only go to cheltenham, because of the proximity to my home but I’ll take the longer ride moving forward, because clearly this location and Abington are horrible.
