This will be my last time at this location, I picked up my glasses yesterday around 5pm. I called to let them know this morning my lens was sticking out on my frame when I bring them in the man Angel grabs my glasses and flexes them up and down Like ARE YOU SERIOUS in front of customers I swore he was about to break them with how hard he flexed my brand new expensive glasses even with insurance I came out of pocket $300 and as he was talking his tone of voice was rude! I paid $44 to make my lens thinner he kept repeating loudly across the room in front of customers it’s because my left eye is bad the lens is thick the frames are too big I told him than why is it sticking out on my Right eye?! He than changes the topic saying well you can get new frames like no I like the frames I picked out once my glasses are done getting the thinner lens put in them I will go to a different Americas Best Location the way I was treated as a paying customer was wrong!

Horrible customer service by the gentleman sitting at the first desk. The young woman in the second desk, toward the back was phenomenal. Great assistance and empathetic. The guy at the front was short and rude and dismissive. My senior citizen mother fell down the stairs, injured her wrist, entered into the store with a black and blue mark on her face. Her glasses were damaged as a result of the fall. All I needed was someone to use pliers to adjust the frame slightly. I came here before for the very same thing and the person at the time and did it with no problem. But this guy refused? Horrible. You lost a customer and I will also be filing a complaint to the corporate offices. Just unreasonable laziness and terrible customer service.
Went to pick up my two frames today and one of them had some kind of grayish film that looked like scratches on the matte black frame. Jeffrey was very rude and argumentative while informing me he was NOT going to replace the frames. I asked to speak with someone else who could help me get what I paid for and he told me NO- you're talking to ME! Another gentleman intervened and said he'll help me- and in under 5min, he put in an order to replace the frame and did my adjustment for my other frames I purchased. His name is Angel, who happens to be the general manager. If I had dealt with him from beginning to finish, I would've had a MUCH better experience here as a first time customer with this brand.
I originally had an appt on June 27. But when I arrived, they told me their software wasn’t working and to come back in 30 mins. A few minutes after I left, they called me and said I’d have to reschedule as they couldn’t guarantee the software would start working. So I rescheduled to today, July 3. A couple days ago they had called me to tell me my appt would be with a doctor who remotely dials in. I said ok. I really needed to order new contacts so I agreed to this even though I don’t think it should be allowed. Today, I come in, and they seem unprepared for my appointment. Two people go into the exam room to start setting up everything for the remote appt. They’re in there for awhile. I’m in the waiting area. Then finally the pre-testing began in the pre-testing room. The person doing this seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing. Then pre-testing finished and I was brought to the exam room. The camera wasn’t working at first. The tech in the exam room requested a doctor but none were accepting. It turns out there is a pool of doctors online and one has to accept your appt in the moment. You aren’t actually pre-scheduled with any specific doctor. So we continued to sit and wait in the exam room. My original appt was for 9:20. In the exam room, I asked what time it was and what time a doctor would join. The tech said she didn’t know when a doctor would join, but that it was 10 AM. She was lying. My fiance was also in the room and when the tech briefly left, he told me what time it had actually been when she said that, which was 10:10. Then two more people join - the tech from the pre-test room and what seemed to be an IT guy. The IT guy is training the tech on the equipment in the exam room. He hasn’t used it before. The original female tech is gone at that point. Then I tell them if a doctor doesn’t join soon, I will need to leave. A doctor finally remotely joins but says that everything we did in the pre-test room will need to be redone. The tests were inaccurate and the photos were blurry. I refused to do this and I left. By then it was 10:20, an hour after my scheduled appt and more than an hour since I arrived.
I went for an eye exam last week, and the doctor just didn't communicate well. She didn't say anything other than "your eyes look healthy." I was in and out in under 7 minutes. I got no explanation for why my prescription jumped so drastically in the last 2 years, no advice when I mentioned problems with constant dry eyes. She didn't even tell me my prescription had changed lol. I only figured that out when I asked a sales associate for a copy so I could go elsewhere for glasses. Weird interaction. Doctors usually talk to patients. Meh.
