I’ve been wearing glasses for about 5 years now. Each time I’ve visited the eye doctor and purchased new frames and lenses it’s been a do it on my own kind of experience. That was until yesterday. I had my first visit at the America’s Best in Smyrna,TN. I was greeted with a smile and treated like a VIP my entire visit. And then there’s Ms Paula, who stands out above the rest. Immediately she took the reigns and guided me through the entire process of selecting an appropriate and stylish frame that worked with both the contour of my face and my prescription. Ms Paula took her time with me, she wasn’t interested in just selling me something. Her rapport and demonstrated experience made it easy to trust her recommendations. She also used the time as a teaching moment. I have such a better understanding of not only how my glasses should fit properly on my face but also how to properly use them. She listened to my concerns, she asked all the right questions, and is just as sweet as she can be. Her years of experience is truly an asset to the business. I wish she could teach a class on how to properly engage with a customer purchasing new glasses. This is the experience I was looking for 5 years ago. I desperately needed this kind of help and service many years ago. It may not have changed my actual eyesight, but it would have changed my ability to see and my confidence in wearing glasses.
