This was our first visit, and the entire team made it an amazing experience. Everyone was incredibly patient, took the time to answer all of our questions, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The professionalism and friendly attitudes made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Brittany was also very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Our first visit on America’s Best on north Germantown Pkwy , Cordova, Tn., was great. We chose this place because our last optical specialist Dexter Lowery, has taken care of us for the last 30 years. After he retired Walmart we thought we would die. Some how he heard that I was looking for him and he called me. He said he had retired but found such a good job that he lived and is back in the eye wear business. We made an appointment immediately. I don’t have to tell you just how amazing and good Dex is. He is the best optician we have EVER used bar none. He works miracles with glasses, nothing he can’t do and he is a bright light no matter where he goes. My wife is getting her an appointment next week. We are so happy that God placed him back in our path. We thought we would never be able to find anyone to replace him. How blessed we are and how blessed this company is to have the caliber of person that you have in Dexter. We also met the sweetest and pretty lady named BJ. What a team those 2 make. She, like Dex, knows her stuff. She was meticulous, so kind, so helpful and we are blessed God placed her as well in our path. And, oh my goodness, what a doll you have there with Dr. Shaw. Doc Shaw was so awesome. Her communication skills are impeccable. I’m hard of hearing and don’t see well, Doc Shaw treated me as if I was a member of her family. She took it slow, repeated when she sensed I didn’t hear her instructions and she was the most thorough eye doc I’ve ever been to. That’s saying a lot because I’m a young 80+😂. We are blessed we found Dex again and also Dr Shaw and BJ. What a heck if a team they are. They know how to treat people, they are so kind, helpful and genuine. We are blessed God put them in our path. We are customers for the rest of our lives. They are all three a breath of fresh air and they light up any room they enter. Just damn good is what they are.

2025 was my first time using AB and I did not have a good experience. 2026 was so much better! The professionalism was appreciated. The manager (Ciera) was great and took her time explaining your options and how things worked. She didn't just do that with me. She did it with everyone.

Had a amazing experience at America's Best! The entire 4 person staff was incredibly welcoming and professional the moment my wife and I walked in. Everything was explained so well from the start that I didn't have to ask any questions. Very knowledgeable team with great chemistry!!!

The staff are friendly, however, I felt like I got brushed off my last 2 visits with them. I paid for contacts (and the follow up appointment that I was under the impression would be free since I was a club member) even though I complained of increased blurriness compared to previous prescriptions. I was told my eyes would adjust and that it wouldn’t be perfect due to my astigmatism- which I understand but the blurriness was worse with contacts than any other previous prescription. Maybe I misunderstood the terms of the membership/club perks when it was initially explained, but I still had to pay for that second visit after the initial eye exam even though I’m pretty certain I confirmed I wouldn’t have to pay for follow up appointments.
