Went in for eye exam and had glasses made. The prescription in my left eye was perfect but something in the left eye was was not correct. Went back in and was made to feel as if it was something I had done wrong by the front staff. After I received another exam and they changed the prescription in both eyes from previous exam from two weeks earlier. Keep in mind this was a simple single vision prescription. I left the office with very little confidence in what had been done. At this point I had lenses recrafted and when I received them it was still not right. Now I feel my only choice is to go somewhere else and start over with another eye exam.

I just wanted to say that I have been going to Americas best for years and I had the best experience this last time. (I’ve never had a bad one) but this one stood out. There are two ladies there named Lily and Melinda (or Miranda) They know the difference between a business transaction and an experience. They were so pleasant even tho it was close to closing time and several people were coming in to pick up glasses. They juggled the place like a fine tuned orchestra. They were very attentive to every guest. Immediately greeting each one as they walked in the door. They were super quick and professional while giving that extra special kindness to each person. These ladies are true gems and are both VERY good at their job. Customer service is an art and they have definitely mastered it! They said I could fill out a survey but I’m not sure how to do that. I couldn’t find one in my email, but would be happy to do this if someone can send me a link.
Wow is all I got. That was probably the least thorough and the worst miss I have had on a eye exam diagnosis I have ever had. Missed the prescription by A LOT. I know because she gave me the exact prescription I had 3 years ago and couldn't see to save my life. Still have the leftover lenses that were unused BECAUSE I COULDN'T SEE. I had them changed to different multifocal lenses that, for the most part was working. I knew I was in trouble when the doctor portion of the exam was less than 3 minutes (not exaggerating). 2 slides each eye, thats it. Literally have had better exams from the techs in other offices. She couldn't wait to be done and out of that room. I was offered trial lenses, but already knew the prescription was wrong as I had that exact prescription from before, and definitely need bifocal lenses. No need to waste more time and energy trying to get it right. She had already decided she "couldn't make it perfect". How about we just get it so I can see well enough to work, drive, do the simple things. I am in healthcare. Been there for a while, I know when other providers do not give it their all. Sadly, this was my experience, wasn't worth her time to get it right. Dr. B, do better. I don't think incompetence was the issue here, just a severe lack of care to get it right. Likely the result of working for a corporation. I recommend finding a local doctor with a vested interest in the buisness, because in my opinion this particular provider views you as just the next person in line, cattle so to speak.
There are so many options for eye doctors and I was contemplating taking my business elsewhere but Christy has gone the extra mile to help me with my contact lenses. Top tier customer service that doesn’t even exist anymore anywhere else in 2026. Thank you so much
America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses does a great job serving the Weatherford community by making eye care affordable and accessible. Friendly staff, convenient location, and pricing that actually helps families. I also appreciate their support for military members and families and their broader mission to improve access to vision care. As a local resident, one opportunity for continued improvement would be supporting community beautification and cleanup efforts. Weatherford has great local groups like Love Weatherford, Keep Weatherford Beautiful Trash-Off, and area garden clubs that work year-round to keep the city clean, educate on proper waste disposal, and maintain natural spaces. Partnering with or supporting these efforts would be a great way to further reflect this business’s commitment to the community.
