America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Absolutely terrible experience. Don't waste your time. I only came in because of the advertised sale expecting to leave with new glasses. Instead, I was quoted nearly $800 for two pairs. The pricing was confusing, poorly explained, and felt incredibly misleading. The doctor was great, but the sales experience was awful. Train your associates to clearly explain pricing instead of leaving customers shocked at checkout. I left frustrated, without glasses, and wasted my time and money on an exam for nothing.

Was told my child's glasses would be in with in 2 weeks. I called after 2 weeks only to be told they attempted to call a week ago. No call or voicemail and i was asked if i wanted them to call again if there was no answer. Asked for additional information and was placed on hold for a very long time. Very poor customer service after they get paid.

Great experience everyone was friendly the eye exam was quick and easy the girl who helped me pick out my glasses was super kind and patient made the whole visit enjoyable she helped me find a pair i really like ill definitely be coming back for more frames !

They should call this place America's worst. First of all, the pricing that they advertise is so far from what you really get. You want to talk about the classic bait and switch? This place? Delivers. I went along with the sham and wanted lenses with some extra perks. They were seriously ready to charge me almost $1,000 for some lenses but I tone that down to just a couple of perks. After waiting a month to get my lenses, the perks that they added auntie reflection didn't even work at all. And the lenses don't work at all unless I tilt my head a certain way. I would really like to get my money back. This is the worst place ever. Don't ever go here.

Thought I might try a new brand of contacts. Doctor writes prescription for new brand and gives me trial pairs. I don’t wear contacts often, so after some time of trying the contacts, I decide I want to go back to the brand I’ve used for LITERALLY the last like 2-3 yrs from Americas best. I call the store to ask them can they switch the brand and they tell me I have to come in for a WHOLE new prescription and a WHOLE new eye exam. A new exam which my insurance won’t cover because I literally just had my eye exam in August, less than 4 mos ago. What a rip off to get more money. I could see if my eye exam had been over a year old or if I was asking to be switched to a new brand I’d never ordered before but WOW! If it were going to be this difficult to switch my brand back the doctor SHOULD’VE written me a prescription for my old brand as well, just in case I didn’t like the trials. I will not be back. Warby Parker is cheaper
