CHECK THIS OUT AND LIKE THIS REVIEW At this point just call yourself America Worse. I went in December to get new lenses put into my frames. The lenses came in January, but when they tried installing them, they didn’t fit. The employee told me, “These aren’t glasses from here, so they won’t fit.” That was incorrect. They’ve carried these exact frames for years. I knew that explanation wasn’t right, so I asked to speak to the manager, Mark I believe was his name. He suggested sending both the frames and lenses to a lab to fix the issue. The lab couldn’t get them to fit either and even replaced the screws with longer ones that stuck out and still didn’t secure the lenses properly. I returned in January, and they recommended sending them to another lab and said they would expedite the shipment. I agreed. This is where things became extremely frustrating. After handing over my glasses, I didn’t hear anything for weeks. I called. I was told they were sent and everything was fine. The next week, nothing. I called again and because it was my third time calling I guess.. the lady had an attitude and seemed annoyed to help me… then was told they were “in the system.” Each time I called, I was placed on hold for 10 to 20 minutes just to be told the same thing. Keep in mind, these are my only glasses. I am essentially blind without them. On my fourth call, a different employee answered and informed me that my glasses had never been sent out. So not only was I being given attitude for calling, I was also being given completely incorrect information. If I hadn’t kept calling, I likely never would have known. They then said they would expedite the shipment and that it would only take a week. A week passed. I called again. This time I was told they were not expedited and would take another week. After about two and a half months, I finally received my glasses. They came back in worse condition than before. The same long screws were sticking out of the top, and bent really bad so they don’t close correctly, exactly as shown in the photo. At that point, I honestly laughed because it looked like nothing had been done at all. I asked the manager how they planned to make this right, considering the time I waited and the condition of the frames. He told me he could return them and exchange them or refund me. I explained these were my only pair and I no longer had my old lenses. He simply shrugged. I walked out feeling in completely dismissed. Even other employees looked uncomfortable and sympathetic because it was clear how poorly this was handled. I later called the corporate website number. After a 30 minute conversation, I was told the regional manager would call me back. No one ever did. I paid for a service and ended up with damaged frames, months of delays, misinformation, and zero accountability. This experience was unprofessional from start to finish. I am still waiting for a call back that will probably never happen until they see this review. I’m still waiting on my call back and will take this to court because how is it fair that I paid to get service but instead of getting what I was promised. They ruined my frames and said “oh well 🤷♂️🤪” If you value your time, your money, and your vision, I would strongly suggest reconsidering before coming here. PLEASE LIKE this review so they can see it. *********UPDATE: still no response even after calling the number below. said someone would get to me. no one has

Well I just got proved wrong! I have been seeing a doctor at a boutique eye place for years. I have been paying top dollar for the simplest frames clear plastic and my lenses have been outrageous. And that's using insurance. I just finished an exam with America's Best with a doctor that has many many years of experience and the office staff were so kind to me with all of my questions. I'm just going to say I did not use my eye insurance when I walked in there and I cannot believe that I am paying one half out of pocket that I was at the boutique eye place. Don't you know that doctor was amazing the staff was amazing and I cannot say enough
My husband and I had a great experience with America’s Best. We went to the store on Macon Road, and Desmond and Gwenda took great care of us. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and they really took their time, making sure the glasses were a good fit and that my husband was happy with his choice. We’ll definitely go back next time we need glasses!
Staff was great. Minus the doctor. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. HOWEVER, I had an appointment on 5/22/26. I was told I had an eye disease (AMD). I asked the doctor what that was and he told me to look it up on WEBMD. Then as I started to ask more questions, with his back to me on the computer, he gets a sticky note and writes down the medicine/vitamin to take daily. I walked what if I don't want to take it what would happen? He said it wouldn't be good and he sent me on my way. I am 43 years old and I was told I was losing my eyesight with this degeneration eye disease. I am an ARMY veteran and I went to the VA to get a second opinion and what had happened. The VA doctor requested my records immediately and the doctor from America's Best didn't write any notes in my record about what he told me or the medicine that he wrote on a sticky note and gave me. My doctor looked at the pictures of my eyes from America's Best and everything looked great and no indication of an eye disease. I wonder how many people he has done this to, especially veterans, and now they are taking a medication that they don't need and scared out their mind. I love the facility but the doctor was rude and misdiagnosed me on purpose. I say on purpose because he wrote no notes in my file. I should request camera footage of my appointment. The VA needs to not refer patients there.
A fantastic experience from start to finish. Walked through the door and was promptly greeted. I checked in for my appointment and took a seat. Within minutes I was called in for my pre exam. The lady was friendly and very professional. I'm nervous about people and things touching or being around my eyes. When it was time for air to be shot into my eyes she kept me calm and at ease. Next I was escorted into the doctor for my exam. The doctor was very professional. After my exam I was taken to look for frames. Angie was very friendly and informative. I was self pay so she went out of her way to find the best deal to fit my budget. A little over a week later my glasses arrived. When I went to pick them up the lady was excellent getting the right fit for me. I'll be a customer for life at this location.
