Glasses have gone down considerably in quality. I purchased two pairs and I cannot wear either of them. I went into the store 3 times for adjustments because they were incredibly loose and the man who adjusts them completely left them misshapen. They are crooked on my face and I cannot see out of them. I've given up and unfortunately will not be back.

Don't waste your time... July 10th I thought id try going to America's Best for my glasses this time around. The exam went well, the people were polite. Fast forward picking up my glasses, I had a hard time looking through them but I really thought let's give it about a week to transition to the be script. Welll I couldn't get used to the progressives I had. This was my fault. I picked "good" instead of "better" or "best". That's not my complaint. My complaint was that I asked for computer script and blue lenses for computer usage i do everyday for 10 hours or more a day with my career. The sales guy, Gregory, when I called up there to ask about my receipt/script on my glasses. I asked if he put the computer script and the blue lens. We both agreed that i did say no on the computer script but he remembered me asking for the blue lens. Ok fine. He looked at my receipt and first said "no you do not have blue lens". I then proceeded on trying to figure out how we can get that added and change the progressive to better or best. To my assumption I would have to pay a little more to get all that added. Fine. I was willing to do that. Then half way thru our conversation he said "oh you have blue lens, I see it in your receipt". Im looking at my receipt. It doesn't say it on there nor can I see the blue lens tint on my glasses like the others I have purchased years past. Told me to try it out for another couple weeks. It's just me getting used to the transitioning. No. So I emailed corporate. 5 days later still nothing. Well here we are 9 days prior to my 30 day return... I went up to the store and did a full return. I'd much rather go and spend the extra $150 @ SVS Vision, than being lied to by someone that doesn't want to own up to not adding something on that i requested (blue lens). The return went well, I'm just shocked that no one asked me why or tried to retain my business. I even had the manager help me. I finally just came out and told her why and her response was "oh, well your money will be back on your card in a day or two". Ok then... deuces🤙 Dont waste your time. It's not worth it.
My family has been going to Americas Best in Grand Blanc for almost ten years. The last encounter we had with them has been quite frustrating. My daughters glasses broke within a month of getting them. We took them back and they said we didn't purchase a warranty. I do not remember ever even being OFFERED a warranty. My daughter had to purchase an entire new frame, and when she got home, they said they didn't explain very well and she didn't get offered the warranty on the second frame either. Very confusing and they are not up front about this and we are out quite a bit of money for some flimsy frames. The quality has gone down the past few years as well. Buyer beware. My entire family will be going elsewhere next time.
I had the best experience at my appointment today (at the Grand Blanc location) all because of Niki she was so great so very kind and excellent at her job. I hope to have her when I come back
Melodie was amazing today. I was not happy with the glasses or the lenses I had gotten. She went through everything with me, took her time and did not make me feel rushed or bothered. I really appreciated that the most! Also when I had my eye exam, the doctor was great. He didn't try to upsell anything either and was straight forward.
