America’s Best Optometrist

I always have a great experience at America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in Vernon Hills. The staff is always nice, friendly, and helpful. The service is fast, and the whole visit goes smoothly. I would definitely recommend this location!

I’ve been coming to the Vernon Hills location for a while. My prescription has at times been to strong. I come in today for an appointment and my membership expired. Why didn’t they tell me that over the phone instead of just scheduling me. I cancelled. Idk if I’ll be back.

Always a great experience here. The optometrist was super knowledgeable, Jeff was very helpful and Michael was so knowledgeable at checkout. Will be booking again for our family's next exam

I’ve been going to Americas best for 20 years, and honestly this specific location has been the least helpful. I recommended my girlfriend to change offices to Americas best because she didn’t have any contacts or glasses left. We went because Americas best makes sure you always leave with contacts or at trials. They gave her a two week wait time with no way of seeing in the meantime. The doctor did not try to prescribe something else until we called back days later to ask. After waiting 20 minutes on hold we were told that they had some contacts she could use in the meantime. We started driving to the store and received another phone call saying they only had them for one eye. When asking if any other location had them in stock , we were told to call those locations ourselves. We actually did , and the other stores were baffled that this location let us leave without a solution. No one from this store has offered any real help. Ordering the contacts online , and after we get her glasses and trials , instead of her switching to Americas best, I will be switching to her eye doctor.
