Let me start with saying I am a fan of America's Best overall, I have went to several of their stores throughout the years and was always happy with Service and Pricing. Went into the Bloomingdale store looking for Frames for my sons Prescription, was greated with kindness and asked if we needed any help. I told them we are looking for frames that my son likes, they said look around and let us know if you need any help. We started looking and my son found a pair he really liked. We asked for help and had a wonderful experience, Dawn the G.M. helped us, she was amazing, she was so nice and helpful. She helped guide use through the lens selection process helping keep our spend down and even applied a discount we qualified for that I didn't know about. We only wanted one pair as my son could find one he liked, she explained we had 30 day to use the discount for the second pair and recommend going online to see if he could find something else he liked. This America's Best under Dawn's leadership was a terrific experience, I highly recommend this place, we walked out very happy, even my 14 year old son commented to me as we walked back to the car how nice they were.

I’ve had the worse experience with the eye club membership and this location. First I was told about the eye club due to coming in for first time contacts by the nice lady I forget her name but she test eyes before you see the doctor. I looked into it on my phone before my actual exam and then after my exam while picking out frames I was approached by one of the workers asking if I was ready to check out and if I was a member of the the eye club to which I replied “no I was just purchasing it on my phone and got distracted thanks for reminding me” and went back to purchasing it on my phone. This detail is very important. Once I set down I let the person know I had purchased it on my phone in which he replied “oh ok I had it on the order I’ll take it off” this began my issues. Why wasn’t I informed it could be rung up in store while placing my order and applied immediately? Not sure but it’s now been 5 days since that visit and the store hasn’t been able to allow me to check out with the proper discounts from my membership which means I am now waiting even longer for new glasses and contacts when my prescription HAS gotten worse so the glasses I currently wear aren’t strong enough. Each time I have had to call them for updates they tell me it’s in and then there’s an issue handling the check out part and someone has to reach out to the customer care line. They called me to make me do that part after telling me someone will do it last time so we will see if that’s the case this time too.
Don’t go there. The manager is very rude. Our insurance pay for the contact trail. My son was new contact person and that time he had hard time putting contact so we bought the their brand last year. This year, we went for the eye exam, doctor ask us to try different brand but the store manager was extremely rude and ask us to buy it before any trail. Let me tell you insurance is paying for the trail exam but the store has their rule. This is fraud.
Huge shoutout to the staff at America’s Best! I needed a last-minute contact lens appointment so I could look my best in a tuxedo for a serenade I had planned for my girlfriend. The front desk squeezed me in within an hour and was so helpful (even gave me a glasses case!), and the doctor was incredibly kind and supportive of my story. Excellent service and even better people!
This is a great place to get your glasses and warranty! I got my new glasses today and they feel comfortable. Will decently come back when I need new glasses. Great place!
