I gave America’s Best (Laurel Location) two chances, and both experiences were a complete waste of my time. On Tuesday, I had a 4:30 appointment. They told me they only had a remote doctor, but no one told me that meant I’d be waiting for hours. My pretest was finished quickly, and then I sat there for over an hour and a half. No one explained the delay or even checked in with me. I came back today for my 10:20 appointment, hoping things would be different. Instead, I had to repeat the entire pretest, and I was told I would probably be seen by 1:30. I understand things happen, but if you’re using a remote doctor, your scheduling should reflect that. People take off work and give up their days off for these appointments. Our time is valuable too. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. If you’re thinking about going to this location, I’d wait until they have an eye doctor on site in August. Until then, be prepared to spend hours waiting, even if you have an appointment.

It appears at least this location only offers a virtual doctor. However, DON’T OFFER SO MANY APPOINTMENTS IF YOU CANT MAINTAIN APPOINTMENT TIMES. I had an appointment at 5pm on 6/10 and there were 3 or 4 people ahead of me. Someone came in after I did and the staff told them they should reschedule because the doctor would probably be clocked out by the time they got to them. One of the techs then said Dr was running behind 20 minutes. Okay fine. Eventually at 6:15 someone was taken back but there was still 1 person ahead of me and they closed at 7. Instead of waiting until they closed, I figured I’d just rescheduled and did so for 6/11 at 11:30. I was told usually early appointments are better than in the afternoon because doctors tend to clock out. As soon as I get there I just ask how long the wait might be since there appears to be 4 people in front of me. I took my lunch break to come back and didn’t want to wait an hour before the doctor could see me. Lo and behold, it’s an hour to hour and 20 minute wait TO SEE THE VIRTUAL DOCTOR. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Don’t offer this many appointments with this virtual doctor system if you can’t maintain your times. This is ridiculous and I shouldn’t have to take so much time out of MY DAY for YOUR SERVICE when I can go somewhere else and actually have an in person doctor. Why isn’t someone calling to reschedule appointments if you’re that far behind? The workers were nice on both visits but how you’re running this business IS RIDICULOUS.
Shelita was very kind, patient, and helpful. She made sure I left the store happy. I was struggling to find a pair of glasses that I liked and she was so attentive and made sure I found the right pair. Great customer service!
I had an amazing experience at America's Best in Laurel, Maryland! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Kenneth Sutton, the general manager, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His attentiveness and genuine care for the customers were truly impressive. The entire staff made me feel welcomed and valued. I highly recommend this location for anyone seeking top-notch service and a friendly atmosphere and I didn’t have a long wait!
Horrible Service . I made my appointment today (5/19) at 5:00pm. They didn’t attend me until 6:40 just to tell me the doctor had already “Clocked out” and had to reschedule either with them again or at another location. There was 2 ladies besides me and they cancelled on them too. For an area that requires professionalism this place is extremely unprofessional. They didn’t say anything until the last moment and they kept trying to blame it on the patient that went before me saying she messed them up cause she took up a lot of time with them. On top of that they tried blaming the lady at the front saying “She should’ve told you it can take up to 1-2 hours even after you make your appointment “ Sorry what? Horrible. Just horrible.
