When I went into America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in a panic to seek assistance in getting my prescription sunglasses repaired, employees Dawn and Emily came to my rescue! Within seconds, they kindly reassured me that my glasses could absolutely be fixed. Within minutes, they were! I HIGHLY recommend America’s Best Contacts + Eyewear due to their absolutely wonderful employees, specifically Dawn & Emily. Thank you SO incredibly much Dawn/Emily!

We chose AB for the excellent price, as we are recently retired and our budget is tight. Excellent experience! Everyone I met with was professional, friendly, & very efficient. All of them made me feel comfortable. Special shout out to Jules, the technician who set the stage for a great visit. Can’t beat the price and service at America’s Best Woodbury! Took away one star because the technician’s table was broken and couldn’t raise up.

Walked in on a Saturday. No line and no wait. Anahi fixed four pairs of glasses for me with no hassle and in no time. I came in with glasses without cases and walked out as if I just bought the glasses again! It was a pleasant experience to see someone who has good customer service and a smile. Thanks again Anahi!

i’m not the kind of person to ever leave a review but this place is horrific. first and foremost, there’s visible mold on the ceiling. second of all the “virtual” eye exams are a joke. my tech was extremely unprofessional, recording voice notes and texting during my appointment, complaining about her next clients, complaining about her paycheck and bills. asked me “so like,, not joking what CAN you see without your glasses?”. didn’t sanitize the equipment between the last appointment and mine. the virtual doctor spoke so fast with such a bad mic i could barely understand him, then misdiagnosed me as farsighted which i am not. i’ve had glasses since age 3, and been to the eye doctors hundreds of times. all across a horrible and frustrating experience.

Like several others who left reviews, this place also never checked our insurance. After my spouse and I got our exams and spent a good half hour looking for frames we found out they don’t take our insurance when it was time to pay. It appears the receptionist knew this about our insurance when we checked in but never told us or the salesperson who helped us. Dishonest company.
