Horner Family Eyecare and Optical

We are relatively new to the Woodbury area and were looking for an eye doctor. After reading the excellent Google reviews, I decided to reach out to Horner Family Eyecare—and I’m so glad I did. The receptionist was very kind and helpful, and she was able to get me in for an appointment quickly. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, which immediately put me at ease. I was especially impressed with Dr. Horner. He took a genuine interest in me and the issue I’ve been experiencing with my eye. The appointment never felt rushed; he took the time to clearly explain what was going on and even pulled up a visual on a screen to help me better understand the problem. It’s refreshing to find a doctor who truly listens, takes the time to understand, and works with you to create a plan moving forward. I would highly recommend Horner Family Eyecare.

Updated - Thank you Dr Horner for following up with my concern. Dr. Horner had done investigation and reached out to me. There was an error and Dr Horner had fixed and refunded the extra charge. Again, Thank you for your services. Our family (3 of us) have had good experiences with the Dr. and our eye exams. Everything was good until I got my sun glasses that covered by my work insurance. I checked it was online from Rayban website for $210 (ish) and it should be free for me. but the front desk person charged me for additional $120 ish, and she explain that their office cannot access to this price and have to pay for $400 for the glasses. I don't understand what the logic is that. I know that you don't care, but you lost 3 customers.

This was our first experience at Horner Family Care. I saw Dr. Sam and my husband, Dr. John. They were pleasant, thorough and complete with their examinations. Front desk staff was kind and courteous. Pleasant office environment too.

I’ve been going to Horner Family Eyecare for years ever since I was a child, and they were paramount to navigating my eye prescriptions before getting lasik surgery. Dr. Horner is very friendly and open-minded.

I highly recommend Horner Family Eyecare. My visit today was with Sam Horner and he is excellent, very personable and dedicated to patient care.
