I have been going to this store for almost 4 years. And this year it has been pretty bad experience with each and every staff working there as each time i had interaction with different person. 1. They didn’t claim to my insurance company properly and i had to pay 200 out of pocket because of the training staff didn’t know anything he is doing rather inform me about my insurance . 2. They claim buy one get another pair free is not at all true. They don’t have anything that belongs to that deal. Its rip off. Don’t fall into that. 3. They don’t give free eye glass cleaning cloth with 300 usd worth of glasses purchased while the lady convinced me to wash last year cloth and use it. 4. They say we do adjustment for free while they don’t have anyone available to do it. I had to go back two times where their main manager who is pro in adjustment is not available. So beginning from making eye glasses to getting it cost me more than expected at each and every stage. Hope they hire some good people and educated staff that know about insurance and customer service.
So let me start off by saying I was helped at first by a nice gentleman who then passed me off to an older little guy who never even bothered to look at me while talking to me he was to occupied with putting away glasses that had just come in and I found that rude and most Definitely poor customer service. Then I show him my glasses got a scratch across the left lens of my scratch resistant lens and he says well your warranty ended 5 days ago so I would have to buy a whole new pair $500 mind you and I tried asking him why would that matter if when I purchased them I was sold on the nonscratch feature he said dont know what to tell me and went back to unloading his box. I am a customer who would have never purchased these frames from America's Best if the advertised scratch proof was a lie. I walked out very disregarded and unhappy with what I thought at first was a great place. I have my family and a few friends who are customers based off my sharing the services report. I will be posting this unpleasant exchange as soon as I get home today. If nothing else I deserve new lenses just based off the false advertising for me to make the purchase in the first place. I will never return to this establishment again. DONE. If I could give less than 1 star I would for being lied to and tricked into buying these lenses.
Extremely poor experience. It took nearly three months to get my glasses due to constant errors. First, they forgot to make them progressive lenses. After fixing that, the second pair had the reading portion covering over 70% of the glass, making them unusable. They were reluctant to admit fault and eventually told me they would no longer address any concerns. Very unprofessional—be careful before going here.
I have a love hate relationship with this location. I love the staff. They're always helpful and friendly. It's the computer system they use that is extremely frustrating. Make sure you arrive extra early to accommodate them being able to access their system. Most recently, we arrived for my appointment. Waited almost 15 minutes just to get logged into the system. Staff is so friendly and apologizes but they shouldn't have to walk back and forth to try doesn't terminals like this. We waited an additional 50 minutes for the Dr. We were told she was scheduled on a conference call and asked if we could come back. We were starving anyway. No worries. Things happen. We did return after lunch. I was given an apology discount that almost covered lunch 😊 thanks!! A few weeks ago for my sons appointment (and previous 3), though only for lenses no exam, was same experience with the system at each terminal. Good selection of frames. Wish there were more of a "different designer" selection. I feel like the frames are all the same classic styles and selections we've seen for 30 years. I would recommend this location for service. I do love it. I just hope their whole computer system gets upgraded. Thanks for your help guys!!!
