I am very disappointed with the poor quality of glasses that I paid for from Americas Best. My lens fell out and when I took it back I was told that they can repair it but not replace it. No one mentioned that they have a 30 day window for replacements. Meanwhile the lens came out again. What poor materials (the frame is extremely frail) this establishment is using with hidden policies!
I went to America’s best on Sheridan Drive in Buffalo for the first time today. From the minute, I walked in until I chose my new glasses and the things I wanted as part of my package everyone was absolutely wonderful. The optometrist explained everything, the receptionist was phenomenal the gentleman that helped me pick out my glasses And check me out his name was Michael was so friendly and so knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about how great this place was.
I have been going here for years! I had a bad experience on Dec.19 2025. I was given a medical form to fill out. Was never asked for my insurance or if I had the same insurance since my last visit. Which was 2yrs ago. Apparently they assumed I had the same insurance. NEVER ASSUME! Alot can happen in 2 yrs. I had the eye examine. When I preceded to the section ( mind you I had already picked out sum frames) then she asked me for insurance. Then I was told they don't except my insurance. The part tht UPSET ME was they waited ✋🏾 until after my exam & wasted time picking out frames to then be told they don't take my insurance! Tht questioned should have been asked after they asked me to fill out a medical form. My entire morning was wasted. I had chemotherapy 2 days prior to tht app. I had to get medical transportation there & had to wait for a pickup! I lost $70 tht i didn't have . I even called them this morning & asked to speak to a manger to see if I could get my money back. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE would have gave me my money back....bc it was their fault. I spent $70 & walked away with nthg. Apparently they needed the money more then they thought I did. After tht I will never go there AGAIN. I will tell everybody I kno not to DO BUSINESS with America's Best. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
This place seriously fell off. They charge for their own mistakes and they don’t run any actual deals anymore. They don’t know how to check your insurance or properly explain your options and benefits. I haven’t had a good interaction with them in years but unfortunately I’m stuck because they carry the outdated-ish frame style that I like.
I’ve had 20-10 vision my whole life 44 years over the past 3-5 years eyes been getting worse and worse. Decided to go in to get eye exam and new glasses for distance/driving Stephanie was fantastic helped calm my nerves and help me pick out brand new Nike frames! 10 out of 10.
