Went for a 1pm appointment and we are still waiting at 1:45. 4 or 5 people working but the optometrist is remote. Meaning its all video, which is fine....but seriously. Eye test was done within the first 5 mins of being here, but ae now have to wait for the dr to call in. There was only 1 other customer in the building with us and they were waiting just as long before getting the phone call from the Dr. I just would like to see a better operation of business here. Even my 9 yr old asked "what do they all do just sit and talk"? I had to explain they could be doing stuff. Floors needed sweeping and bathrooms were dirty. I would recommend they do pagers like the restaurants do.....they make you wait long enough to get your shopping at Walmart done next door before you get to talk to the Dr. Update....after an hr of waiting and no body checking on us I finally went to the front and asked how much longer. The response was, its a remote visit, when the calls thats when we get seen. Some advise, when you ask someone if a mutual visit ok, maybe mention it can be a long wait. Don't make it out like its the same experience. We will see how the return visit goes when the dr is actually on site. I will give them one more shot to make it a better experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at the America’s Best location in Quakertown. The lack of professionalism was evident throughout my experience, including my interaction with the optometrist. I expected to be treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect, but unfortunately that was not what I experienced. As a customer, the only power I have is to choose where I spend my money. Because of this experience, I will never return to the Quakertown location. I also feel it is important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision about where they choose to receive their eye care. I sincerely hope management takes customer concerns seriously.
I had my eyeglasses exam in May, and by the end of the appointment, the lady was trying to have me spend $400?! Like are you actually kidding me?! Hell no I would never do that! I stood my ground and I said what’s making it that expensive? She added on a tons of stuff to my glasses and I had her bring the price down all the way to $115. Tonight, I picked up my glasses. The same lady and another lady were giving me weird looks when my fiance and I were walking in to pick them up. Maybe there upset that I didn’t spend $400? Whatever. Their lack of customer service disgusts me, and I am never coming back. Shame on you. You lost a customer. I am going back to Trexlertown. The people there are so much nicer than you guys are. Maybe this would be a lesson for you guys! 👏
Very bad experience. Nobody called to let me know that the glasses arrived. After 30 days i asked … and yes … the glasses were in the store - but no courtesy to let me know … and then…. She gave me someone else glasses and other person’s paper work. What a bad service. Very hard to believe that a group of girls … with barely one customer in the store every time i was there cannot find the time to be professional. I had to come back to the store and return the glasses ….What a mess! Very disappointed in this service.
My family had been looking for a new optometrist. We heard about America’s best through friends of ours. We went down to see if we could do some walk-in’s. Carlye and the other ladies at the front were extremely helpful and very professional, but the store manager was very rude and short with us. Letting us know they didn’t have time for any walk-ins. We made some appointments and the receptionist said she would have our insurance transferred over for our next visit. On our next visit Paige was still very short with us. I only remember her name because we felt like an inconvenience. We got an eye exam but did not select any glasses, we will be looking for another Optometrist. Disappointed family of four.
