This doctor was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I was told I could drive right after dilation. That is simply wrong. After the dilation, my vision was heavily blurred and I was not able to drive safely at all. Anyone with basic optometry training knows patients should be warned not to drive if their vision is affected. That warning was not given properly here. This kind of misleading reassurance puts patients at real risk. Just go to another place!

I just moved to Burlingame from New York City 4 months ago and needed an opto asap I made a few call to doctors offices that my insurance gave me but none were as pleasant as the person who answer my call at Dr Soss office! New Yorkers are demanding and me being 74 years old demand even more! The appt was set for the same day I had read the reviews and was ready for the worse! But what a surprise! The staff gets 5 stars The Doctor gets 10 stars! He was a professional from start to the end and has a great personality too. He was able to answer all my questions. I felt like he really enjoys his practice. How can I ask for anything more? So if you need to see an Opto call his office and see for yourself how nice of a place this is and decide for yourself what kind of doctor he is. You are going to be more than happy that you did ! I’ve been seeing Dr. Soss for years and can’t recommend him enough! He’s always helpful, consistent, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Whenever I’ve had an urgent issue, he’s been available right away and made sure I was taken care of. The office also has a great selection of frames, and the staff is always welcoming and professional. I truly appreciate the quality of care and attention every time I visit.

The whole staff is very knowledgable, patient and friendly. They also had availability and were able to get me in quite quickly.

Dr. Andrew Soss very disrespectful to staff & patients! The way that you just talked to a patient of yours is VERY disrespectful. If your having a bad day don't make your staff & patients have a bad day either. If you need patients to bring in something specific let them know before their appt not when the patients gets there.
