I was thoroughly impressed with Annapolis Vision Center, as every individual I interacted with was exceptionally kind and helpful. I underwent several eye tests that were entirely new to me, having never experienced them with any other eye doctor. The results were enlightening, and I gained valuable insights into my eye health. Certain aspects of my eye care had not been previously considered, but were brought to my attention, and I was placed on an intensive regimen of eye care, including medication to improve my oil glands and two additional treatments for my severe dry eye. However, I am experiencing some difficulty with the glasses I purchased, as I struggle to see clearly while wearing them. At my next appointment, I plan to request that they review the prescription and measurements to ensure accuracy. I find Dr. Doud to be extremely thorough, and I appreciate her approach of addressing the root cause of issues rather than merely treating symptoms. I look forward to continuing my care at Dr. Doud's office and feel confident that many of my problems will be resolved. I am eager for my future appointments, knowing that I am in capable hands. Sincerely, G. Thompson.

Dr. Doud and all of the staff are phenomenal. I was experiencing a lot of dry eye and irritation. After following the treatment plan advised by Dr. Doub my eyes feel great! I’m really pleased with the care provided by the team at AVC. They truly go above and beyond
I have been going to Annapolis Vision Center for quite a long time. The staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable. Dr. Doud is also very kind and explains everything so you understand. They use the latest equipment and the office is always clean and welcoming.
I received the following text message this morning (not a phone call). Good Morning J. We have your Annual Eye Exam scheduled on 10/24/2025. However, Dr. Doud has a scheduling conflict and we will need to reshedule your appointment. We have temporarily moved your appont to 10/29/2025 at 11:30 am. Please give us a call to confirm or move the appointment. Thanks! -Solange. According to my appointment card, my scheduled appointment is for 10/22/2025 at 4:00 pm and not 10/24/2025. I tried to explain this and it fell upon deaf ears. A text message is the new way of canceling and rescheduling an appointment instead of a phone call? The Office Manager was extremely rude with a non-chalant attitude. She had zero interest in the fact that I presented my appointment card. I wanted my appointment for the date that I agreed to on the office appointment card that was provided to me and not some other random appointment. After requesting my records, I have been a patient for over 15+ years, the unprofessional Office Manager, forced out an apology to me and the practice has the audacity to request a $15 payment for my records. I will never return back to the office and please destroy my records. The Office Manager has destroyed the once great Annapolis Vision Center.
I want to be sensitive about this review, I think the young lady who administered many tests could benefit from a tutorial on customer satisfaction. I had asked her multiple times that I did not have my hearing aids in and she seemed to dismiss what I was saying . When she put the headset over my eyes , she removed it before the video was over so I mentioned to her that the video was not finished and she said it was okay because the doctor would go over everything. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and engaging as was the woman who administered the Macular degenerative test .
