Aran Eye Associates

I went in person with approved authorized referral to make app. A week later and less than 24 hrs for my app. I received a text to confirm app and do check in. Two hours later received another text, indicating I needed authorization for the app. To contact my pcp. Neither my pcp office answers calls, and neither does Aran. I had to go in person again to Aran office, only to confirm everything at my end was ok. I'm still waiting 3 hrs later for Aran to reach me back, I left my contact info. If this is how their system and their office personnel works, I can only imagine the rest. I cancel my app with these people.

Just to confirm what other reviewers have said, this place is an absolute mess, dirty, crowded, uneducated personnel. And … the long waiting, our appointment was at 10am, arrived 9:40 and left at 2pm. 4+ hours for a simple eye test!!!

I have no words for this specific office location and Dr. Lopez. Go to any other location but this one. The disorganization is beyond bad. They call you in whatever order. Dr Lopez doesn't seem professional, especially with his clothes are all baggy, he responds very sarcastic like if we did speak at all. When he asked my mom a question and would try to respond something accurately, he would kind of cut her off with a short answer and continue on his doctor notes. The entire office takes its time to call you they do whatever they want. It's just NO PROFESSIONALISM. De ninguna manera regreso acá.

Very small waiting room...people coughing. Problems with my referral (insurance) AvMed Medicaire Circle (yuck) but Dr. Lopez and staff were excellent...very professional and nice. My first visit with lots of eye issues was not rushed. Office site is nothing fancy but treatment was excellent and I'm picky. English (my language) is not the predominant language heard but folks communicate very well. Receptionist was not friendly. **My appt and follow-up for a test with new insurance...VERY professional in every aspect. Dr. Lopez is amazing along with the staff I saw very promptly. My concerns were addressed.

Dr. Aura Zambrano and her assistants are very pleasant and efficient in their treatment. They explain each step of the procedures. They are bilingual (English/Spanish) so it's easy to communicate with each staff. The office is clean and seems well maintained. I recommend them "with my eyes closed" :)
