Ardmore Eye Care

I got NEW FRAMES! Everyone ELSE loved my last pair. Strangers even asked me where I got them, so I got a second pair $$. But guess what? They never quite fit and were too heavy. Constant adjustments did not help. I walked into Ardmore Eyecare to see Dr. Hall one day and saw some that looked made for me on the wall. It was strange and I was nervous. Mike handles the spectacles. He spent ALOT of time with me answering every possible question. I have some unique proportions and artsy taste. He was knowledgeable, competent and most important, he was patient. I have now worn them for a while. Every time I look up in the car mirror, it’s a surprise, cause they’re not slipping down my nose like the others AND and they are quite attractive and up to date. If you’re stuck, try some with Mike. He knows every nuance and is great at this.

Mike did a great job helping me through the process of selecting new glasses . He was thorough, patient and knowledgeable. Picked up my new glasses and prescription sunglasses today and they were a perfect fit . Thank you Mike .

Disappointing experience even before being seen. I booked the appointment online and did not receive any confirmation for over a week. I finally called the office to confirm the appointment. When I asked whether they accepted my insurance to double-check, they stated that while my insurance was accepted, they couldn’t locate my policy for some reason, despite the fact that I had not experienced this issue with another provider. They offered me a cash appointment, which I declined. I’m disappointed that I wasted this much time waiting for an appointment that I never received confirmation for, nor did I receive a phone call to let me know about the issue with locating my policy. Needless to say, I won’t be going.

Not great customer service. I asked for a detailed written report of what Dr Hall discussed with me a few days ago and also his findings when he examined me. All I got was a report with numbers. Who wants numbers. I want a written report, is it that hard to do?. They use to provide one. I know Dr Hall sold his practice so I guess he doesn’t care what happens now.

The optometrist is professional and easy to talk with. The office is welcoming. I’m glad they focused on my goal which was to get contacts and didn’t try to upsell me on eyeglasses.
