I recently began the process to have an eye procedure done with Dr. Justo. I scheduled, completed and paid for 2 visits leading up to the procedure as required by the office. After receiving approval for the procedure through insurance, I called to schedule and was informed that Dr. Justo was no longer working. No explanation, no attempt to reschedule with another doctor, no way to apply my efforts to another process to get the procedure done. Just a couple referrals to other doctors. Bad enough, now I've spent time and $160 in copays for literally nothing. A few weeks later I receive an invoice for $37 for an amount due from the first appointment. I call the office, no help, only explained that it was for services already rendered. Didn't matter that I ONLY paid and completed that service with the understanding that the office would provide the surgical procedure as promised. I paid. Today I receive another invoice for another $54 for an amount due on the 2nd appointment that was done for nothing. Terrible business to continue to add insult to injury in this situation. Not going to try to rectify again, I'm sure I'll get the same explanation. Very disappointed with how Az Eye Institute is handling this matter as none of it is my fault and yet here I am continuing to pay for something promised but not delivered.
