Absolutely terrible, Impatient with the elderly, receptionists barely wants to talk or answer questions. Everyone is miserable with their job and it’s obvious. What’s the point of making an appointment if you’re going to have patients wait for an additional hour and some change after their appointment time. I signed in, waited to be called, paid my copay for them to magically realize they did not accept my insurance because “insurance companies change their guidelines all the time”…..(whatever that means). Of course no refund of the copay they took with providing no service. The experience was not welcoming, and I truly recommend going somewhere else.
I have been a patient at this optometrist's office for several years, but my recent experience was disappointing. The receptionist's behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked a simple question, she abruptly hung up the phone instead of providing assistance. A more professional approach would have been to politely inform me if she didn't have the answer and assure me she would follow up. Moreover, the appointment process has become unnecessarily drawn out. What should be a single visit for an eye exam has turned into three separate appointments - for the eye exam, glaucoma test, and a follow-up regarding the glaucoma test. This feels like a a money grab rather than prioritizing efficiency and patient convenience. Additionally, the wait times have become increasingly frustrating. Previously, I would see the doctor within 30 minutes of my appointment time. However, lately, I find myself shuttling from one room to another only to spend less than 5 minutes with a seemingly disinterested doctor. Overall, while I've been a loyal patient for years, the recent decline in service quality and professionalism is concerning. I hope the office management addresses these issues to improve the patient experience.
...also got the unhappy receptionist. She's bad in person, worse over the phone. The Doctor and staff are nice but I will not go back to this establishment.
By far the worst experience ever, I booked an appointment months in advance, they confirmed the acceptance of my insurance, once arrived to the place they told me they didn't accept my insurance, not only they were rude about it but try to blame me for their incompetence.
