It's hard for me to find good eye doctors. My eyesight is so bad that I am really particular about my glasses and contact lenses. I fight for them to be as perfect as possible because, the cost of course, but the effect every slight change has on my eyesight. When I moved back here I went back to Asheville Eye, where I had been a patient since grade school. I loved my doctor but unfortunately I never left there in less than 4 hours. I couldn't handle the wait times and how crowded it always is. My fiance came to Asheville Vision and Wellness and liked it so I decided to try it. He is a regular sighted person who only needs routine checkups but I figured it was worth a shot. Glad I took his word because I love this place and Dr. Sid's guidance. He listens to me and works with me to make sure I can see well and comfortable. The staff there are all amazing. They are all so kind and greet me each time. They provide and serve coffee, even bringing it to you. When I had to try on frames alone, which I normally don't do because I cannot see the frame on my face without my prescription, the girl that helped me was amazing. She is a makeup artist on the side too and so she understands symmetry and color theory like I do and took photos of each frame on my face with their tablet while giving me her true honest opinion until we narrowed it down to my final choice. This wasn't fast either. She took her time with me. I appreciate my eye doctor and the staff so much. You can also text them for questions and appointments which for someone as busy as me is a lifesaver. My fiance sees one of the spouses there, the other two doctors in that location are married, and he loves them too. They also bring their dog in sometimes and I love him so much. He is quiet and gentle and knows who wants to pet him or not. He might be the best part of that practice but that's just my opinion. Give this place a try if you want advanced technology, cleanliness, style, comfort, efficiency, and understanding.
