The office staff were accommodating when I needed to reschedule for an earlier time. The doc and other staff were friendly. The person who helped me with ordering my new lens went out of her way to make sure my glasses were comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
For the most part each visit I have at Atlantic Eye has been satisfactory with a nice staff and clean office. Each visit I have felt like just another patient no more or no less. For my next annual eye visit I will most likely choose a different provider as I have frustrations with billing and getting billed for items I did not approve of. It has happened more than once and today was the second time, I was told I could decline the imaging test but would have my eyes dilated, I was completely fine with declining and having my eyes dilated as I am in a delicate financial situation at the moment. Then staff told me they would waive the imaging testing. But then at the end of my visit they charged me for the imaging testing anyway that I wanted to decline but was told they would waive. Also I felt some guilt about the dr’s reaction to me declining once daily contacts vs monthly contacts, but again due to my financial situation I can not afford the daily’s. I walked out of that office today not feeling like I was really taken care of as a customer or more importantly as a patient.
Atlantic is amazing! I was not taken seriously at another local office but here I was diagnosed with MGD. Now with that we are tackling the issue in their office with therapies. The staff is patience and kind. They all understand we patients don't know much in their field so they take the time to really explain until we understand. I definitely don't mind the Hampstead traffic to go to Atlantic Eye Associates!
Everybody was very attentive and friendly! They were efficient and made me feel heard about my concerns. They did a thorough eye exam and helped me figure out my correct prescription. I would recommend anyone to this place, and if you do schedule an appointment make sure to be put on the cancellation list because they do schedule out quite a bit!
I had an excellent experience with Atlantic eye Associates and their entire team. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, listened to, and genuinely cared for. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and took the time to explain clearly without rushing. The staff was professional, kind, and efficient, and the office was clean and comfortable. I left feeling confident about my eye health. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch eye doctor.
