We found Dr. Mandese for a google search for an neuro ophthalmologist near us and he was the only local person. He is absolutely fantastic. My 16 year old was having some vision issues and we called and they got us in very quickly. My husband and kid came home just saying wonderful things. On a follow up appointment I went and they were 100% correct. He is thorough and very knowledgeable and intelligent. I felt very fortunate that we got him to help with our son. The entire staff was friendly also and quick to respond to a follow up phone call. It really is a great place and I can not recommend Dr. Mandese and his office enough!

Dr Mandese was recommended to me by my Neurologist for my double vision. He was able to look at/into my eyes and confirm to me that what I felt was happening was accurate. He recommended prism lenses in my glasses to correct the remaining problem so that I could drive again. Ver nice. Very good!

I have been seeing Dr. Mandese for many years and he is always very thorough, professional, kind, and communicates at a level I can understand. His staff is also the same - very kind and informative. Several of my family members and friends are also patients as well and feel the same.

Dr. Straut is excellent! He always takes time to explain everything he has found in the exam, and all the options for treatment. Plus Dr. Straut makes time to answer all my questions. I never feel rushed out of the office. The office staff is very nice and efficient. I am totally satisfied with my eye care and customer service at Atlantic Eye Consultants.

I found Dr Mendese to be a caring knowledgeable and competent doctor. He was thorough in evaluating my new prescription and answered all of my questions and took my concerns seriously. I plan on returning at my next appointment.
