Atrius Health Concord

I’ve been a patient at Atrius Concord for many years. I believe this is by far the very best healthcare system in terms of primary care in the area. I don’t have much experience with their specialties, however I had a very positive experience with optometry In the Concord location.

The staff and doctors or all fine. No complaints. The issue was with the politics of the institution. They are a money grab, forcing you to see THEIR doctors, in their little complex. They refused to give me a referral for a knee replacement with a doctor I trusted and wanted. This doctor WAS in their network and associated with Atrius Health! I changed my primary care, got my referral without any problems and had my surgery last month. Also, having had a previous Knee replacement with them a few years ago, their Concord PT sucked. Total waste of time and money. I basically rehabbed on my own. Found a great PT this time around.

I start coming to this location is only to see my Dr Buzanis, I have been seeing Dr. Buzanis for over ten years, and his deep compassion for his patients always makes me feel completely at ease. Even after he relocated his practice from Kenmore to Concord, I was more than happy to make the hour-long drive to continue receiving his care, and I am delighted that he remains in my insurance network. Additionally, he is a wonderful listener who consistently offers excellent advice on staying healthy and fit.

I have a great primary provider here. However, today for the second time in my tenure as a patient here, they cancelled my scheduled 2 month out physical 90 minutes before I was scheduled to be there. Two seperate last minute provider cancels is pretty terrible customer service.

Always a positive experience here. Appointments run on time and sometimes I have been taken in early. Very clean and staffed professionally in all areas. Plenty of free parking.
