Everything I have ever had to do with my health has been extremely simple and professional since my dealing with Atrius Health. I have never felt so confident in my medical health since I have joined with them as one of their patients. From Dr. Chisholm to every specialist. Every Single One them make me feel like they are invested in my well being.
It has been a positive experience almost 100% of the time. The staff is compassionate and efficient. Routine care appointment are relatively quick to get. Booking specialties department appointments are booked out a month and 1/2 but you can get lucky by calling their office for any cancellations. There are multiple locations to choose from. I had 2 shoulders replaced and everything went well with the surgery and follow-ups.
I made special arrangements for my son to get on the bus, left for what is usually a 15-20 min drive that would have put me 5-10 mins early for my appointment, got stuck in horrible traffic, called to let them know I’d be late. They told me to keep making my way there. I was five minutes away when Lisa from rheumatology called me and told me I would need to reschedule. After sitting in traffic trying to make this appointment there was not even a sorry or attempt to accommodate, they wanted to push my appointment out two weeks that I’ve been waiting for over a month for. I told them I’d go somewhere else. The phlebotomists are great which is what warrants the two stars.
Dr. Trevor Schott is wonderful! He is extremely knowledgeable and confident. You will find that he listens and is very compassionate. I experienced relief immediately after surgery and I would highly recommend Dr. Trevor Schott. You won’t be disappointed.
The medical staff and services I have used at Atrius is excellent. The person at the check in desk when I went for my recent office visit with Dr. Miller, asked me questions about my health care coverage that were never asked of me before. I have Medicare and Wellpoint Medicare extension. Other than that, I have had very positive experiences at Atrius Health Dedham.
