I give my highest recommendation for Dr Mathers and the staff at Bala Eye Care. Dr Mathers is the best doctor I have ever had. I have complete trust in him taking care of my eye health. He provides exceptional care and is highly skilled, articulate, caring, amiable, authentic and available. For my cataract surgery he guided our conversation on lens selections so that I felt confident and satisfied in my choices. He and his team provided all the information required to prepare for surgery which allowed me to be comfortable with the process. Post op instructions were very clear in eye care and handling potential problems. Post op, he identified a potential problem, thoroughly explained it to me and got me into a specialist immediately after my appointment with him. Fortunately there was no significant issue found. I felt very well taken care of. No more glasses for me and 20/20 vision! The office is pleasant and all of my appointments were on time. The medical and front desk are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoy going there.
Every visit here has been a genuinely great experience. The office is consistently spotless and thoughtfully organized, which immediately puts you at ease. Wait times are minimal, and everything runs smoothly. What really stands out is the staff—welcoming, professional, and attentive, making you feel valued from the moment you walk in. Even yesterday, when I came in feeling terrible after a recent accident, I was treated with kindness and respect. Even the kids never complain about coming here—which says a lot. Highly recommend
I’ve been using Bala Eye Care for many, many years. The quality of the eye care is amazing. They are always attentive to my needs. When there has been an “emergency” they have always accommodated me the same day. Once they gave me a good referral to an office in a different state when I was on vacation. The office staff is courteous, professional and efficient.
Dr. Logendra was wonderful. She agreed to see me the same day after I woke up with what turned out to be a tiny grain of sand caught between my eye lid and my eye. She methodically and professionally followed the protocol for identifying the problem by asking me questions, testing my eyes and then carefully flipping my eyelid exposing the grain of sand to removed it. Her calm demeanor and explanations for each step she was taking put me at ease and made the whole procedure go smoothly. She is an excellent practitioner and addition to the Bala Eyecare practice.
