This office is so unprofessional! We had to book my daughter’s dentist appointment 3 months out. A couple days before her appt I called to confirm she had one because I did not get a call from them. I was told it was cancelled and I asked why wasn’t we called to reschedule…? She rudely said she don’t know probably because they short staffed and only one dentist is working 2 days a week. We sat awkwardly on the phone for a minute because she did not offer to reschedule so I asked to reschedule. At first she told me no because they not taking new patients. I informed her well you see we not new. We was there last year for her yearly eye exam. Then she reluctantly stated how far they are booked out. Again okay. Thank God my daughter is not having any problems that need immediate attention. So we booked another 3 months out. I called to confirm this appt and another rude staff member was pretending to not see this appt. After I confirmed time and date she found it. She asked if it was too early for yearly (Insurance coverage?) I stated no it’s approximately 6 months later. It’s like she wanted a reason to cancel. We drive over to Springfield for at least 3 different Dr appts because majority of the office staff in Decatur be so rude to patients. Now we have to go over there for eye appts. It’s really sad because the actual dentist is was pleasant and I’m sure they have no ideal so many customers are being ran off.
