I had a pleasant experience. I was not sure what to expect. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. My wait was not long and the procedure was explained to me and I was made comfortable. Dr Crockett kindly gave me the results and what I needed to do to move forward. I quickly had another appointment scheduled to continue the process.
The appointment with the doctor was great! Turned my personal frames into the optical department. They came back from the lab broken. They were the color of gold very dainty. I took very good care of my glasses and they came back with a purple nose piece. When I was not accepting the glasses, two of the females in the optical department in ShowLow were very upset with me because they kept bringing me gold nose pieces, but they were very bold and not fitting for my glasses (claiming they told me about their apparent policy of not being responsible for my frames, they never told me that. I was actually surprised they never mentioned it and was happy that they didn’t mention it because I thought great they’re gonna take care of my frames, which were my favorite). A nice lady in a the office offered to send them out and try to get it matched. I went back a week later to get them, but the alignment wasn’t correct, so I couldn’t see properly. Called them back and I said you have a couple of frames that are comparable to what I have I’d like to put my lenses in them. They charged me an extra hundred dollars. Putting my lenses in those frames at that office I picked them up yesterday, and while cleaning them today I noticed all four connections to my lenses are scratched. Today I called them and said I just want my money back. I don’t want to do this anymore and they said they want their product back. Interesting Customer Service. Very unhappy customer.
I've been going to BDPEC for years for routine eye exams and a medical eye condition. The team is excellent. I want to single out Charlene a Technician. She consistently is exceptional. She knows me and my unique needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I immediately feel very calm talking with her. She's professional and kind. Thank you BDPEC and Charlene!
They did a great job on my right eye. On my left eye, even though they installed a lens, I had a macula issue and it is not that good. They keep telling me it is 20/30, which it is not. I went to a different eye doctor and he told me it was 20/60 but later changed it to 20/50 after I told him about my experiences with Barnett-Delaney. Not sure why he changed it. I think these folks at B/D are all good people with good intentions. They have done all they can do for my left eye. My problem with them is the way, it seems to me, that when there is problem they want you to think the results are better than what they really are. There is no way my left eye is 20/30 but I think they want me to feel very good about the results even though the good results are not there. Probably about potential lawsuits. Not really into doing that.
