Best eye doctor around! Yearly visits need to be scheduled months in advance. If you need an urgent visit they're quick to get you in, usually within 24 hours. Very affordable and usually keep contacts stocked for same-day purchasing.
I wanted to leave an honest review about my experience at Bastin optometric. First i never felt welcomed there. The employees have this i'm better than you attitude. I felt as though i was being looked down upon the entire time there. When i wen to look at glasses same poor experience. The glasses assistant was very rude and short with me. She kept trying to push me to look at cheaper glasses. It was the worst customer service that i have ever received anywhere. The owner seemed to be oblivious on how his customers are treated either that or he doesn't care how poorly his customers are treated. I personally would not recommend this place. It was my 1st time going there and my last. I don't even know how he is still in business the way he allows his staff to treat customers poorly.
I initially went to Visionworks to get medically necessary contacts. They did not follow the guidelines from my insurance to get them. After several weeks of waiting, I was nearly out of my lenses and was told that I would have to pay over $700 for my contacts. I contacted Bastin optical and they worked with my insurance company, VSP, to get changed over to their office. I had my years worth of contacts, 100% covered, in a matter of days. They were very helpful to me! I was able to get in immediately and was treated with kindness. Everyone there was super helpful and I definitely recommend them!
WARNING! Do not trust this doctor! They tried 3 times to force me to take lenses I couldn't see out of. They only want money they aren't interested in actually helping people see. AVIOD!
From the time I walked into the door with my daughter, to the exam room, all the way to picking out her new "pink glasses" everyone was so very friendly and welcoming. We are a military family and had a not so good time at the eye doc on post so we took the time to find one we thought we would be comfortable with. Even during a pandemic it was so easy to breath with the care you received by the staff and doctors at this office! I will 10/10 recommend to anybody! And so very glad we made the switch to Dr. Bastin office.
