Avoid this place at all costs. I received a bill from the lab by mistake after my appointment here. Be Well put me through 2+ months of back and forth emails and phone calls where they profusely apologized for their error but never actually fixed it. Ultimately the lab threatened to send the bill to collections and I ended up paying it myself to avoid the trouble that comes with that. I sent the clinic the bill and never heard back. From what I heard from one of the people I spoke to over the phone, as of April 2026 this is an ongoing issue and there’s other patients in similar situations with lab bills.

I had a terrible experience here. Before my appointment, I had two separate phone calls where I verified multiple times that the provider I had an appointment with was in-network with UMR. I even offered to send my insurance card ahead of time. Both times I was assured that the provider was in network. I arrived at the office, and waited for 45 minutes before they told me that the provider in fact wasn’t in network and I would not be seen that day. I lost several hours of my workday because of this due to the travel and wasted time in their office.

The service isn’t welcoming at all nor is it professional. Receptionist are too busy laughing with one another versus taking heed to the clients walking through the door. The receptionist will not acknowledge you until they’re done laughing amongst one another. They speak to you with no hospitality and doesn’t provide much solutions. It’s as though you’re pulling teeth to get solutions from them. Not to mention, it took the authorization team 2 weeks/ 35 mins before my scheduled appointment to let me know that I didn’t need authorization from my insurance company to receive a MRI. Rohan than tells me she can do me this one time favor of emailing me my referral to Lenox hill after I asked “does it always take two weeks to find out if authorization is needed from an insurance company?”.. By the time she called.. it was literally 35 mins prior to my follow up appointment with the orthopedic doctor. I was supposed to have both MRI and X-ray results for him. And yes I did call a reach out to the authorization team and Rohan for answers 4 times over the span of a week before my appointment.

Very clean and staff friendly and professional. Dr. LaToya Freeman I would highly recommend to be anyone's Primary Doctor. They offer many services for specialists also. They have another Primary location on Farrugut Road.

I had an extremely distressing experience at this facility. Despite a routine blood draw, I was subjected to six painful needle sticks by three clearly inexperienced nurses. The resulting swelling on my arms was shocking. This level of incompetence was unprecedented in my medical history. Furthermore, I was treated with a lack of respect. The patient's voice is ignored. I was met with a group of women exchanging condescending smirks when I attempted to communicate with one of them. This experience was incredibly frustrating and dismissive. Consequently, I have withdrawn my medical records from this facility and have since sought reliable care elsewhere.
