Not a great experience. The eye doctor, Binh Than, at Benjamin Eye Associates inside Target rushed through my daughter’s exam and gave her the wrong prescription numbers. If you don't have the patience to work with 11-year-olds, decline us and don't charge for the visit instead of rushing us out the door. I was hoping I was wrong and that the prescription was accurate, but when my husband asked him to retest her vision with those numbers, my daughter could barely read the board. Even after seeing her struggle, he insisted it was fine. My daughter is shy, but she really tried to speak up and read what was on the board—there was no reason to treat us that way. We had used our insurance for that visit with a $10 copay, but my husband suggested getting a second opinion, so we drove across the street to Optical Illusionz that same day. They gave us a completely different prescription, and I literally cried tears of relief right there in the office when they actually listened and got it right. Even though we had to pay $160 out of pocket at Optical Illusionz, we happily spent it for an accurate exam. I only wish I had used our insurance at Optical Illusionz instead and never set foot inside Benjamin Eye Associates at Target. It breaks my heart knowing my daughter almost went to school with the wrong vision correction. 💯 do not recommend!!!
