This Walmart has become absolutely horrendous. Really horrible. I guess they are dealing with an abundance of theft, or “shrinkage“ as they call it in the industry. The outdoor center is decimated. The sliding doors to get in and out of the outdoor center are locked. Their stock is low. There are Davidson County sheriffs deputies all around the entrances. They check your receipts on the way out. Anything slightly valuable that I might have wanted to buy is now behind a locked glass door. I feel sorry for Wal-Mart having to take all these measures to reduce theft. But I won’t be coming back to this Wal-Mart.
This is the worst store. They have the self checkout lines closed. The ones are open, maybe three of the four work on that line and they don’t open their self check out because they don’t have people to control it. if Walmart doesn’t want to self check out then get more cashiers to work. Stop controlling everything or put more cash she you cannot make people wait for 30 minutes to self check out or to check out The scanner doesn’t work right. The shopping carts are locked at the entrance There are no shopping carts available. Nobody goes to get them from the parking lot back into the store. it is a mess and most of the Walmarts are adopting the same stupid policy
The deli/ Hot bar food is always cooked so early in the morning and never fresh. 😩 I tried getting the food earlier while it was fresh and told, the food is not put out until 10 am, and the 1st time coming in was close to 6 am. So 4 hours sitting out makes chicken dry. The place is alway crowded and ppl with 10,000 groceries want to do the scan and go, it should be for 20 items or less, so its not lines hanging out with people that have limited items. I normally go to the edmonson pike location for peace of mind shopping, however today I ended up here..I despise this one, workers act like they barely want to help anyone in customer service or at lanes.
I would like to say that I'm very disappointed in the Walmart employees this evening the way that I was treated and their lack of motivation to do their job . They refused to do a price check. Therefore I was unable to purchase the items. And these items were in the clearance section this was not my responsibility this was Walmart's system if the price was missing it was their fault and obviously their job to find the price not explain to me how it is impossible considering it must be measured so there is no way I can purchase those items . So I said really?! Well nevermind then keep it all I'll go thrift store shopping tomorrow Instead. There employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Have a good nite, sike!
