I highly recommend this optician for their professionalism and great selection of frames. Lisa was wonderful and so accommodating throughout the entire process. A big thank you to the whole team, and let’s support our local businesses!

Great and personalized experience. Berkley Eyewear is a small boutique with an awesome selection of cool & modern frames. Lisa does such a great job stocking unique styles and is truly gifted at helping pick frames that balance and complement your eyes and face shape—she can just look at you and know what will work. She makes it hard to narrow it down to just one pair! Andy went the extra mile recommending a thinner lens to better suit my frames; both he and Lisa were super transparent about pricing, no surprises at checkout. I’ve purchased multiple pairs here and still love every one. The eye doctor was great too- thorough, clear, and recommended a better contact lens for me. I’ve since made my husband transfer his care here and recommended friends who’ve had the same great experience!

My go-to eyewear company for 15 years. Great selection, excellent service from exam to picking out frames to adjustments. Lisa and Andy know this space. Give 'em a try, you won't be disappointed.

Horrible eye exam and glasses. It seems they have "a traveling eye doctor" that came in with the Carnival. He told me I had no cataracts even when I told him I was told I had the beginnings from a doctor earlier. It was confirmed this week by Henry Ford Optimi Eye. The progressive glasses Berkley Eye gave me were useless and no solution was provided other than they told me they didn't work becasue I was too tall (true story). Stay away from them. They don't care about anything other than taking your money. In response to your question why we didn't bring this to your attention and why so long to make this statement. We went back to see you 3 times. The last time was when your genius husband actually hopped up on a chair to explain why my height was the problem with the the glasses that didn't work. We then went away for the winter and when we came back you said it is too long a time for you to correct our problem. I have since been successfully using CVS $10 reading glasses until we went to a real eye center in Royal Oak at Henry Ford. The late review was from the level of excellent experience at Henry Ford Eyecenter. It reminded me of your business model. You dont mention your "doctor" telling me I dont have the beginning of cataracts. So to summarize your why I am telling people to go anywhere other than you? Bad exam doc you hired, bad explanations by tryin to blam me for the bad glasses you made, bad resolution hoping we would just go away like other poorly treated customers you had. IF you really want to be an upstanding business how about a refund to address your poor performance. What say you?

I have had two excellent experiences with Andy and Lisa. Andy made picking out a pair of frames seem like a breeze. He was more than helpful explaining what to look for when selecting glasses and was happy to give me feedback on how they looked. He was very patient in helping me find the right fit. I ended up with four pairs of glasses in the last two years that I absolutely love and would never have found on my own. You can tell that Andy and Lisa love what they do. Their passion is poured into their store, their selection of frames, and the superior level of customer service that they provide. I will definitely be back again 😀
