Better Vision Cypress

I recently had an eye exam at Better Vision - Cypress, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. I worked with Dr. Farooque, and I cannot recommend her enough. What stood out immediately was the advanced technology they use. The equipment is top-tier, allowing for a incredibly detailed and comprehensive mosaic scan of my eyes. Because of this high-level imaging, Dr. Farooque was able to catch things that might have been missed elsewhere. She discovered a cataract in my right eye, which was quite a surprise given that I’m only 45. She also identified some specific tissue issues in my left eye that required a close look. I actually walked in not thinking I needed glasses at all, but Dr. Farooque took the time to explain exactly why I do and how it will improve my daily life. The entire staff was great—they were patient and took the time to explain every part of the process and the results in detail, so I never felt rushed or confused. If you are looking for a thorough, professional, and technologically advanced eye clinic in the Cypress area, this is definitely the place to go.

5 stars As a pediatric registered nurse, I’m incredibly selective about who we trust with our family’s eye health—both for our elementary-aged child and for the adults in the household. We’ve been dedicated patients of Dr. Naveera Farooque at Better Vision Cypress for years, and the level of care is truly outstanding across the board. We live in the deep Pearland area and make the long drive every time without hesitation because Dr. Farooque delivers exceptional, thorough, and compassionate eye exams for everyone in our family. She’s an expert at pediatric vision care—making our kiddo feel relaxed and confident during check-ups while carefully monitoring developing eyes—but she’s equally impressive with adult exams, catching subtle issues early, explaining prescriptions clearly, and providing thoughtful recommendations for glasses, contacts, or any needed follow-up. Her attention to detail, combined with her warm and patient demeanor, makes every visit feel personalized and reassuring. The office staff is fantastic too—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind to our entire family, from the little one to the grown-ups. They handle scheduling, insurance, frame selections, and everything in between with efficiency and smiles, creating a positive, low-stress experience every single time. If you’re in the Cypress area or even farther out and want top-tier eye care for your kids and the whole family, Dr. Farooque and Better Vision Cypress are worth the trip (or the switch!). We trust them completely with our vision and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend—your eyes (and your family’s) will thank you!

Love Dr. Farooque. She goes to great length to make sure I understand everything that is being done in testing my eyes and takes the time to listen to and answer all of my questions in detail. Her staff is great also.

If I could give a lower review I would. First they don’t sell glasses and the places looks dirty. Second, they did take my vision insurance however they told me since my MEDICAL insurance is an HMO they said if they “found” a medical issue with my eyes like an infection or dry eye they would Need to charge me $275 to treat me. That is a huge red flag. I have never been told this before. They said I could go get a referral from my medical provider to prevent that fee after I pushed back and said absolutely not. I came for new glasses prescription. I have eye issues other than that. But I am sure they would magically find one if I had agreed. Maybe they don’t understand how refeeeals work but typically people seek referrals for existing conditions. Not fabricated possible condition you don’t feel you have. Horrible business practices. They also have a sign that says cash preferred. Scammers do prefer no paper trail.
