Good eye care, easy to get to and an enjoyable experience. Recommended for honest, expert service. Theentire staff made me feel that they had my best interest as a priority. The check-in was quick, even though there were customers at the desk being helped, a gentleman from the Eyewear area promptly greeted me and got me all set. The eye technician was friendly, courteous & knowledgeable. She explained the process as she quickly & efficiently got the pre-exam work done. There was no waiting before the Dr came in & completed the exam, explained any concerns & gave honest answers to my questions. When it was time to choose my glasses, there was no pressure to buy any. Jolie was very helpful & honest with the expensive ones I initially picked out. She took her time, listened to what I had in mind. Then carefully helped me choose something that looked best. Not what was most expensive or trendy.

Dr. Morris at Black Diamond Eye Care is amazing! He truly takes the time to listen, explain options, and look at all angles of your eye concerns to make sure you feel comfortable and cared for. The front staff is also incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares about their patients!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ortman since he came to Castle Pines. Long time! I’m always grateful for his care and knowledge. Today was a bit different and compelled me to fill out the survey. An employee was being trained by another on some of the fancy machines (which always fascinate me). There was such kindness and patience between both these staff members - to each other and to me. It’s a great example of every person on the team and the environment they’ve created. Congrats to Dr. Ortman for assembling an amazing group of knowledgeable and well trained professionals on your team. You’re the best!

If you go here, I would recommend being prepared to get a second opinion somewhere else. I was told I had keratoconus, which caused me a lot of stress and worry for several days. After seeking another opinion, I found out that I do not have it. The front desk staff was nice, and the facility was clean, but I left feeling like I did not receive enough guidance or support about what to do next while I was waiting for answers. I was also disappointed that the doctor took a phone call during the appointment, especially while I was being given distressing news. That made the experience feel even more stressful and dismissive. Overall, I do not feel confident in the diagnosis I was given, and I wish the situation had been handled with more clarity, care, and professionalism. I will not be returning as a patient nor recommend anyone visit this clinic. The doctor I saw was Dr. Liu.

This eye doctor is amazing they do a great job and are very friendly! I did the myopia program here and they did a great job with it, it was a smooth process and definitely helped to slow down the rate at which my eyesight was deteriorating. Dr. Ortman is very knowledgeable and always makes sure your contacts or glasses are as good as possible. He is always willing to help you out if anything is not quite right with your vision. I would highly recommend black diamond eye care and their myopia program!
